2024.11.26 04:31 Rising_Gravity1 You have 3 attempts to read the minds of anyone you have met in your life. The only catch is, whenever you read someone’s mind they immediately know that you read their mind somehow.
Whose minds would you read and why?
Some ground rules: 1) you can’t read a person’s mind foreveendlessly. You can only probe their mind for a specific thing that you can ask in the form of a question. Say you want to know if your loved one was cheating on you. You could read their mind for that by asking them, “have you ever cheated on me?” And you would have your answer.
2) thus, if you try to read someone’s mind for the answer to a really difficult homework problem, it wouldn’t work unless they actually knew the answer. In which case your “mind reading” would be wasted.
3) No reality-warping, omniscient answers please.
4) you can never read minds after the first 3 times, with zero exceptions. But you don’t have to read them right away. You can save your 3 mind-reading uses for emergencies or a future opportunity if you like.
5) Before anyone asks: yes, you can read the same person’s mind more than once. But it would use up one of your three “mind reading” instances each time.

Wondering if anyone has used eBay to purchase a used camera. I held my breath and bought a used lens a few years ago from an individual and that worked out ok. Perhaps I was lucky.
I’ve noticed a number of Japanese camera “stores” selling on eBay. Some have fairly high ratings.
I’d love to hear about any experiences you’ve had, good or bad.

About 5 years ago I bought a few Shun knives. One of them being a small serrated knife, the same size as a Shun paring knife. I loved it when I used to work pantry, made cutting tomatoes a dream. I lost it during a renovation of a place I worked at the time, because I foolishly left my knife bag there. I bought it in a set that also came with a typical shun paring knife. It was just the normal base line of shun, nothing fancy. I believe it was actually called Tomato Knife, but when I looked it up I can’t find anything. If anyone can help me find it or a similar knife I would really appreciate it!

Just watched about Azure Local and looked at the resources, but can't get a good feel for the "All In" cost of this, running on your own hardware. The plan, for a test environment, it to re-purpose two Dell vSAN Ready Nodes and kick the tires, but with the hybrid benefit is it really a zero cost situation? Seems a little too good to be true from MS, but then again we pay a lot every year so wouldn't be sad if it was true.

 | So it's all work in progress, etc, but where are the rest of the classes intended to go with the new skill tree layout? All classes start in the middle now, around the big circle that gets filled with ascendancy. They could add 6 more starting nodes in the middle, sure, but then where do the starting areas for those classes go? Intuitive starting areas and gem suggestions per class seem to be a focus for new player experience. Will the rest of the ascendancies just get added to the 6 confirmed classes? Maybe but that will likely make the existing starting areas convoluted. And mess with gem suggestions. Maybe the other classes start somewhere else on the tree?
