Personally I find a mix of both to be the most effective. Digital notes are great for organization and quick searches. They are perfect for creating mind maps, highlighting key points, and saving links to additional resources. However the constant screen time can strain your eyes and distract you. Just Like I get distracted by YouTube videos 😅
Paper notes on the other hand can be more engaging and help you retain information better. The act of writing can help you remember concepts more effectively. Plus there's something satisfying about flipping through a notebook filled with your own notes.

My teacher helped me a lot in this .You can be a mix as well like you like both doing thing to remember like writing and hearing them as well like videos or even hearing your friend yapping when he or she is explain something

one of the great resources for digital note taking is OctiLearn similar to save my exams but free. It provides a wealth of study materials, including past papers, notes(that you can edit and save for yourself), and flashcards.

I’ve listened to Fred Hersch quite a bit over the years simply for pleasure, but this is the first time I’m really digging into what he’s playing and learning from him, pianist to pianist.
I’m entranced by the album simply called Solo. i reaaaally love his treatment of The Song is You and i’ve been working on my own arrangement that started with transcribing his. (it’s funny, i don’t really like that tune as an up tempo tune so his ballad treatment is especially good for me)
I’m curious what other pianists (or anyone) have learned from his playing, especially since he has been known as an educator for decades, what ideas/concepts he’s been known and respected for. With The Song is You i really adore the spacious voicings that pull out the perfect amount of inner motion, and in general i just really appreciate how gentle and emotional he is. What other details about his playing would give me more to listen for and learn from?

 | So I was 22 years old when I got my first pair of docs. it was the Alix, the beautiful pointy-toed boot. I remember loving the way the look and it was quite the splurge for a new graduating student. As beautiful as they were, it was the worst pain I have ever felt while wearing a shoe. I remember trying everything, from wearing double socks and trying to break them in indoors. But no luck, so I sadly gifted them on to a friend. Fast forward 10 years later, I am now 32 and itching for a Dr Marten boot. Sadly the Alix model is no longer available, but the lovely shop staff recommends the Pascal Virgina boot after hearing what I went through with the Alix. First day of wear wasnt too bad, but the second day, (although wasnt as bad as my previous experience), was still not great. So, I decided to shop around for some heel pads to see if they will do the trick. I now cant stop wearing my new boots because of how comfortable they are with the heel pads (plus, these things keep your heels moisturised! so double win!). I live in Tokyo, so not sure how widely these are available. I had lumbar decompression surgery/microdiscectomy almost 6 days ago on L5-S1. I've had symptoms on both sides but the most dominant one was pain in the right buttock shooting to calf on my right side before going in for surgery.
I'm a bit of a worrier so I'm hoping I'm overthinking but I need some advice as this is affecting my sleep now and I should be resting.
So after surgery I had almost no pain. It was amazing. Little burst of pain down my left leg and small loss of feeling in patches that came and went the first day. Some hip pain on the left around day 3. The nursing staff thought it was just the nerve adjusting after surgery. Now I'm getting a pain in my left buttock shooting to calf mostly while lying down, for over a day. So this is a different side to where I was having the pain pre-op. It feels like what I had on my right side before surgery but milder. I've had a post -op cough that is clearing and I was also constipated when I went to the toilet day three and day four. I might have sat on the toilet over the recommended 15 minutes sitting time day four. I'm so worried I pushed too hard(the coughs gave been deep and chesty and I definitely pushed hard on the toilet, held breath slow push but no sudden pushes) and injured the disc. Any insight would help. Thanks

I'm reaching out because the onlyfans support is not replying back. Today I received a threat by a creator that could ruin my life if true.
I've been a sub to this particular creator for a long time, we've interacted a few times here and there but nothing more than "loved that set" or something alones those lines. Today I send her a DM about a photo she took in her balcony. To my surprise she reacted in a very bad way, calling me by another man's name, telling me that she was going to report me to the police for harassment, and that this was the last straw. I believe she has had some issues with a stalker before and thought it was me. I was about to explain myself and tell her that I wasn't that man at all and she misunderstood that comment. At that point she threatened to use social media to 'expose me'. While that was happening I was going through my profile to unsubscribe from her when I realized that I used the email account with my own personal name to create the account (I know, I know). At that point I got a bit scared and decided to delete the account to not escalate the situation further, neither for me or for her to feel threatened or scared.
10 minutes later I started thinking, what if she reports it to OF? What if she actually goes to the police? Or finds who I am and instead of backing out she 'exposes' our private chats through social media? So I asked OF support if she is able to obtain my info, no reply. However I believe that she can if she has a police report? I don't even know at this point and would like some more information about what to do.
