I think sidestep right and sidestep left has had me killed more than it has done me any good. So I decided to get rid of it and changed the keybind to “I” (right is release and left is continuous). This way I can lean left and right and toggle zoom on my scope without side stepping. Now my weapon attachment toggle is fucked and will only turn lights and lasers on while I hold T down instead of simply toggling it on and off when pressed.
Has anyone had any similar issues like this and can help me? I’ve reset controls to default and tried different key binds for side step but can’t seem to figure why it’s doing this.
Just to clarify I have not messed with any other control settings I just wanted to get rid of side step

I've been experiencing verbal abuse since I was in college, and it's only become worse over the years. My mom has the ability to whittle me down to nothing and is among the root causes of severe chronic depression. She upset me so much yesterday that I couldn't eat, didn't shower, and barely moved from my bed and couch.
My dad is an enabler (as well as a victim of her abuse). She is an extremely rude, combative, condescending person who sits at home by herself all day. No job, no friends, and no hobbies that I know of. Oddly enough, we have occasional "good" moments and conversations, but they're rare and fleeting. I'm now hyperaware that these moments are just the eye of the storm. The holidays are always unnecessarily stressful due to her behaviors, but I always try to be the bigger person and show up anyway. I don't want her to "win," and I genuinely love the company of the rest of my family.
I've considered going low or no contact with her, but it's difficult with siblings, nieces, and nephews. I also don't know if I'd be able to live with that guilt, even though I know I'd be free from a lot of the pain. I've spoken about my therapist with this extensively, and she agrees that, at least for now, I should remain friendly without sharing too much personal information with my mom, which she can use as ammunition in the future.
I'm so exhausted.
