Personal pronouns show person and number. He, she, him and her show gender. They have different subject and object forms (except you, it and one which have only one form): Personal subject pronouns act as the subject of a clause. We use them before a verb to show who is doing the verb. We do not usually leave out the pronoun: We use he/him to refer to men, and she/her to refer to women. I'm in New York, at the Empire State Building. EDIT: But note also the difference when in is used to indicate inside. Did you know he and she are the only gender-specific pronouns in the English language? While it may be obvious to most native English speakers that he is masculine and refers to a male and she is feminine and refers to a female, non-native English speakers may confuse the two. In the context of instant messaging (IM) between colleagues, it is acceptable. In the context of informal speech, it is also acceptable, but I would prefer to type it as "Is he in today?", or given proper context, "Is he in?" We use 'at' for very local placement - he's at my house; she's at the front of the bus. We use 'in' for countries, cities, areas, etc. He's in Japan; he's in Tokyo; we're in London. The phrase "he is in" is correct and commonly used in written English. It can be used in a variety of contexts, but it most commonly indicates that the person mentioned is currently inside a building, room, or other enclosed space. Example: "I called John, but he didn't answer. I think he is in a meeting right now." He is in custody. He is in jail. A) If the pronoun is the subject of a sentence, use he. If the pronoun is the object of a sentence, use him. Your example should be: Who is he. An example where you would use both: I've seen him - who is he? B) If someone called you on the telephone and you do not know them you might ask: Who are you? or. Who is this? 'It is he' sounds very formal. 'It is him' is grammatically correct and is in common usage. HE is used for subjects and predicate nominatives. HIM is used for objects of preposition, direct objects and indirect objects. You could rephrase the sentence: I relate to him most of all. 'In' implies that the person was a patient at the hospital, whilst 'at' is more likely to be used when the person was just on the premises and not a patient, although you would probably use 'at' if you had a appointment at the hospital but were not admitted. E.g. "Where are you?"

2024.11.26 05:50 stanleythedog Anyone else had Footfall un-explored?
I'm at the point where I finished chapter 2, before going into 3. For some reason, when I go to footfall (any area of it), the game seems to think I've never been there. All the loot, interactions etc. are reset. I even got an interaction where an Anver guy recognizes me as the guy who killed their boss and the station is affected by me allowing the tainted crops from Janus . Anyone else got this? I even just got the flamer guys encounter again in the shadow quarters.

2024.11.26 05:50 Informal_Scar_5577 creepy dad bombards me with texts and is obsessed with my love life. what do i do?
my mom and dad recently divorced. im in college and live with my mom 100% of the time. my dad is definitely a narcissist and for a while i wasn’t responding to his emails and texts, however he would constantly message me. my therapist told me to respond every once in a while but hes so fucking annoying. hes in his mid 50’s living in LA and trying to live out some peter pan complex fantasy and doing things he is way too old to be doing and constantly texting me and bragging about it. my mom thinks hes trying to convince me to come and visit him and if i did he wouldnt let me to come back home. which sounds insane but is DEFINITELY something he would do. hes also obsessed with me being in a relationship and CONSTANTLY asks me about if im in a relationship and thats the only thing he ever asks me about which is creepy and such an invasion of privacy considering i barely speak to him. whenever i answer any questions he tries to relate himself to the kinds of people i go out with. for example i talked to a football player and thats all i told him after his INSANE line of questioning. and he immediately told me he used to play football. he also asks a lot of creepy questions about my sex life. things my dad should not care about. whenever he texts me about something, whenever i respond about ANYTHING that can be looked up online, he responds with a bombard of text messages that read like wiki entries about the topic. its so weird and so annoying. i dont want to hear fucking random facts about a random movie or random actor.
does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this??

I was so excited to watch the Netflix doc as soon as i saw Joe Berlinger did it. Besides JonBenet, the WM3 case is another case i was very passionate about. Well Berlinger got those men free years back. If not for him, theyd still be there. This man is the best documentarian I've ever seen.
I hope this documentary spawns backlash against BPD and they're forced to take action.

House was built in the early 1970s. Didn’t realize the risk till afterwards. Dust didn’t really kick up but it does have some glue that is hard to scrape off. Should I just remove entire subflooring and drywall since it had wallpaper.

I recently found out about apps such as Moofer ($10), Moof-it ($3), and MoofMate ($9). These apparently let you unlock your speed to 37 km/h. Right now I'm limited to 32 km/h in the US.
Are these apps still legit? The first two were updated over 2 years ago, so I was thinking maybe they don't work anymore. The last one was updated a week ago, but I still don't know if it works. I read about these "hacks" to make the VanMoof go faster that don't work with upgraded VanMoof firmwares, but I can't see anything about this in VanMoof's firmware.
