I'll keep it as brief and I'll try to make it vague so it's not traceable and this is a throwaway account. I 20F have been crushing on my colleague 25M (in college btw) for like a year now? He has given me a lot of mixed signals and I honestly need to ask you if I'm delusional or not. So 1. I'm a smoker , he's not and he is always coming outside w me during breaks to talk about whatever , no matter what type of weather it is outside and for no other purpose than just talk w me. 2. Waits for me a lot of the times? One time he waited 10 minutes after he arrived just so I can catch up and we can go together. 3. He waited outside in the /rain/, next to the car, when we had a class trip because I was running late and he wanted me to know in what car to get in. (He wasn't the driver and apparently everyone already decided where they go and I ended up w him in the car).
Now after these incidents , back in June I decided to see if there's anything more and I texted him if he wants to grab some drinks sometimes to which he instantly responded that he is not looking for anything? So I took it as an obvious rejection and moved on. BUT Now , as of recently, in this new year of college he started again? And even stronger? He beckoned me to sit next to him in the bus , like... Right next to him not just close. He sits next to me in class and we bicker playfully. And lately he asked for one of my social medias aside from the main communication app. Another thing is I didn't see him do this w anyone but one girl that doesn't attend anymore and w her it was last year so idk. But he genuinely doesn't treat my colleagues like this..
What do you think? How can I approach him? He seems so approachable and unapproachable at the same time and esp after June idk if I have the courage to take a step. Let me know.
