My (40M) wife (41F) and I are in the middle of getting a divorce. We had been struggling for years, we have different values with raising our kids and she and my family haven't been getting along and it got to the point where we decided a divorce was best, we're getting to a good place co-parenting wise since we both want the other to be in our kids lives.
Last year, our eldest (8) had a student teacher (25m) in their class that both me and my wife loved, he was a really great teacher but also super kind to our kid and helped them through some difficult times (this is the kid that we disagree on). Over the summer, we hired him to tutor them, after he also got hired as a full time teacher at the same school. At this point I had moved out and it was difficult for our kids, but he was a great presence and provided some stability. The tutoring stopped at the end of the summer.
Well, I learned this weekend from a mutual friend, and then got confirmation from my ex, that apparently my ex and the teacher have started hooking up if not dating. I'm really not okay with it. For starters, he plays a role in our kids lives, and while our kids don't know and my ex says that the two things are "separate" I just do not think that's okay. Also, he's really young. Even though he's in his mid 20's, he looks and acts like a teenager and I think it's just wrong and I honestly blame him less because I feel like she's taking advantage. But also, this has to be against the rules somehow with what his job is, even though he's not an active teacher of our kids.
I told my ex that I didn't think this was okay at all and could be bad for our kids and she flipped out on me and told me to stop controlling her, that it was casual and that they just had a connection, all that. And told me I was a huge asshole for caring about who she's sleeping with.
I feel like I'm going crazy here, but I really think this is a bit extreme, obviously I wouldn't care if it was some random person. AITAH?

She will need support for her entire life, and I know that one day my parents will die, or become too old to care for her. I wanted to wait and see if they would show it in the episode before I posted this. Did you notice the blunt end to David Lucas' interview? It's cause they edited out 10 minutes of him fighting with Jeff Dye accusing him of cornering him at a comedy club because of a Muslim joke that offended a muslim woman comic (i forget if they mentioned her name). Anyways I'm wondering if anyone knows what the joke was or what he said. Cause it got super tense in the room and Jeff kept trying to change the topic and David refused, basically saying a bunch of dudes including Jeff ganged up on him and told him he was shitty and should apologize/ never do the joke again. Wasn't a huge fan of this episode live so it's fun knowing I got to be apart of KT drama. Feels like a mini Ric Flair moment.

Was rear ended and suffered a moderate concussion 2 weeks ago. Also having back issues now. The person who hit my car was drunk, so they are at fault. Both cars have insurance. Have a lawyer but things are getting messy with medical bills. They opened up a claim with my own car insurance. Based on what the lawyers have told me today, I’m concerned about coverage limits, as they are trying to hurry the case along, despite no treatments actually being done yet. Went to an ER that the lawyers recommended because they work with them, and I think this is what is really messing things up. I really need help with figuring this out or knowing whether I’ll end up in debt over this. Located in Texas. I’m desperate to message anyone who has been in a similar situation.
