6 hours. That is how long it took to disable Ballidorse.
The decision seems so strange to me, as a bug like this brings players back to have fun with something so busted, and possibly reignites their passion for the game.
The amount of content that would be made, montages and the like drive player engagement, albeit for a short time until a fix is implemented.
The identity of this game in some form has included things being incredibly broken, and the community having a blast with them.
To me, it just seems against their own interests to disable something so fast. Let people have fun with it for a week. Let creators make lots of content from it for a week. Let the game be trending online for a week. To me, disabling it in 6 hours after the first video was posted, is just a shame, and works against keeping players count.

i’ve been thinking about transitioning the setting of my manga from the americas to japan. which means new names for most of the characters. but for starters, i’m not well versed in how names are written, decided or pronounced when it comes to japanese names. i think some names are combinations of two or more kanji, and some are just words
but would it matter if i just pick any random combination of japanese names and sandwiched them together to create a name for a fictional character? or is that insensitive? that’s what i did for a number of my characters’ original names. would that just not make sense if i did that
in the case of mha, i think their names are puns. but i dont understand enough of the language to do that
idk, i just dont want my characters to end up looking stupid with stupid names

Last night after taking Metformin I had awful insomnia, I heard there isn’t any particular time Metformin must be taken at, so is that true that it would be fine to switch to taking it in the mornings?
I take Ritalin LA in the morning too so just want to be sure it won’t effect that
I got prescribed it for my PCOS I don’t know if I have any insulin resistance or such my doctor just immediately put me on it saying it will help PCOS.
As well if I change it to the mornings do I skip the dose I would have taken tonight and take it tomorrow morning? Are there any risks with skipping doses if I just started it yesterday?

So my agency spoke about liberal leave said you can use sick or annual time on Wednesday and Friday this week. I should also state that I'm someone that's on FMLA. I use a lot of sick leave and annually due to ongoing cancer diagnosis and other health issues. So today I was told that I can't use liberal leave because I'm one of the people that uses too much time. I asked for clarification about this from the department manager and it was confirmed. People who use too much time can't use liberal leave. I don't have a leave restriction letter and I have time that would cover me. I'm not even going to bother with the union because when I spoke to them they didn't know what liberal leave was. LOL WTF!

As a 16 year old son, i can confirm my parents cross the line sometimes. Like when i tell them no they won't stop. Like for example, my dad won't stop joking. Like he would randomly come in my room and start bothering and sometimes even tickling me. Like can't he see he is being creepy? Plus, he keeps singing annoying songs and never stops despite me telling him stop multiple times. And he keeps calling me daughter when I am his son and he want stop. He says it's a joke but he says it multiple times that I no longer enjoy it. My mom keeps forcing me to do stuff I don't want. For example, mom was trying to give me a certain desert and I rejected tried to explain I tried that before and didn't like it but she still kept forcing me to eat it to the point where she even bribed me to make me eat it. Like what part doesn't she understand? I already told her I don't like it. End of the story. She is also very strict on me especially in clothing. Like she literally tries to force me to be perfectly dressed even when I choose valid clothes. She is often controlling forcing me to change almost everything about what I'm wearing.

My urbanears Luma earbuds constantly make that annoying "do do - do do" sound to indicate low battery. This is in spite of the fact they have 70% (to give an example this is what they currently have as I'm typing this - sub it out for any fully charged or close to fully charged percentage). They also will eventually turn off automatically despite not being out of battery forcing me to stop whatever I'm doing to reset them. This gets very tedious very quickly. Have I screwed up somehow or are they just terrible earbuds?

2024.11.26 05:40 Confident_Research_1 AITAH for popping off during a 3 hour movie to someone who was loud but happened to have a disability
I saw Wicked over the weekend with my son. The movie is 3 hours long and every few minutes, one woman would provide loud commentary, laugh obnoxiously, and to me she sounded completely coherent, sassy, and like she was a pick me. I sat two rows in front of her and had 0 idea what she looked like. Towards the end of the movie, i ended up turning and glaring at the row of women. They ended up munching their popcorn very loud and then burping, i believe they were doing this to get a rise out of me. Once the movie was over, i stayed seated to figure out who was making all the noise, and was able to pinpoint a woman and i told her, “thanks for ruining the movie experience for me” then the mother of the grown ass woman came running over to me, I proceeded to record her as she screamed in my face that her daughter had Cerebral Palsy. I clearly didn’t know this, and the movie was 3 hours and in 3D so if someone is disabled and overstimulated to the point of being loud and out of control, i would expect that they take her to the showing that is in a calmer setting (not saying disabled people don’t deserve to see a 3D movie). I felt really bad and went to the girl and apologized and the mom and friends continued to berate and yell at me, saying how awful i am to be rude to a disabled person. AITA for breaking down at the end and saying what i said to the disabled lady(didn’t look or talk like how i would think of someone with a disability). Also, how would you approach this situation, imagine you’ve waited so long for this movie, and the entire time you are distracted due to a woman behind you being loud and obnoxious and in your head, you only imagine an attention seeker.
