 | I am selling my 2016 Volt LT with 78k miles. Both the BECM and EGR valves have been replaced. The car is still under some warranties. It has been garage kept for most of it's life. No smoking. It has 4 new tires, a fresh oil change, a fresh coolant change, and 2 new TPMS sensors. It has had all the recall repairs available done. It was my wife's daily driver. It still gets around 45-50 miles on the traction battery. It is clean with no rust, no dents, no accidents, no water damage, no hail. The are no stains or rips. The inside and outside are in near perfect condition. It has the MyLink touch screen with CarPlay. The only visible blemish are some scratches on the wheels from parking too close to the curb. The windows are tinted and the read hatchback is starting to bubble a little bit. Its not too bad yet. We are located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in Salisbury (21801). Hi all,
I guess I am just after your honest experiences & any advice you are happy to share with me with managing a short & possibly incompetent cervix after leaving my hospital appointment feeling confused & helpless.
If you think I am overreacting (hello pregnancy anxiety!), please give it to me straight and tell me if I am! I am now doubting myself and what I have learnt/researched after speaking to the high risk obstetritians today (public hospital in Australia).
I am 34yo, two early miscarriages around 9 weeks, now 17+3 pregnant with a healthy baby girl. IC and pre-term labour run in my family (ALL women on my my mother's side have experienced it with and without losses), my cervix was measuring 2.8cm at 16 weeks.
The high risk obstetritian stated, that this was a "great" length and that nothing needed to be done. If I was concerned I could take Progesterone but he did not think it was needed. He said to continue life as normal, exercise normally, no pelvic rest needed.
He stated seeing that I did not have a previous second trimester miscarriage and IC is NOT genetic, I should not be worried and he would discharge me from the high risk team.
He did say that if my cervical length was under 1.5cm at my 20 week scan (which he is sure won't happen), I can opt to get a cerclage but he would not recommend it as cerclages come with a high risk of membrane rupture, infection and pre term labour.
What I was hoping for was to receive regular scans from 20-26 weeks, possibly weekly or every 2 weeks combined with Progesterone, pelvic rest and light activities only. He said absolutely not to the scans as there is no reason (unless cervix is measuring very short at the 20 week scan).
My question is: am I wrong thinking the above is needed to manage my short cervix and should I try to find somewhere to get weekly/fortnightly scans from 20 weeks on or am I overreacting?
Oh god I am so sorry for this massive post and I hope some of you will have the patience to read it and the kindness to respond.

Me (14f) I'm sick and tired of everything I might have severe mental health problems idk. I haven't been diagnosed with that mom always tells me that I'm sarcastic and I don't listen at all even tho I try I try so hard to make her happy last night we had a few arguments and im tired but when I met a boy that's the same age as me (I asked for proof that he wasn't a 50 year old dude) and I think my life was a little bit better ever since but when I showed my mom she starts saying that I'm gonna end up like my sister and brothers saying how I'm gonna leave her and get pregnant at 21 like my sister did and all other types of crap she said with her bipolar I just wish mom would take care of her self and get her eyes checked because her vision is getting worse and I'm sick and tired of being a "good daughter" im tired anyway I'm just venting thx for listening.

I recently discovered a love for writing but my grammar and punctuation need some work. I dismissed language subjects in high school, thinking poems were a waste of time, and excelling in them made me less of a man. My teachers used to enjoy my essays, but my grammar was not great. I regret not giving more attention in high school.
