I am surprised and super happy that Twentyone Pilots are part of Arcane S2 soundtrack. Great year that fullfilled my wishes. I always wished Tyler should sing as theme track for movie after "The Suicide Squad". Now in 2024, another surprise for me is that Linkin Park is also part soundtrack list. My two favorite bands Twentyone Pilots and Linkin Park are in same soundtrack album. Plus "The Line" song dedicated to Viktor, my favorite Character in Arcane series. Never imagined. Another new wish is LP and TØP collaboration. :) Sorry for late to party.

I found myself wondering if this idea has been explored or thought about. I don't think it has been implemented in any way in Pokemmo but does anyone know of a game that has attempted to implement the time lock progression game style to pokmon.
I feel like this is a really obvious idea which is why I'm hoping someone has attempted to implement it somewhere.
The way I imagine this looking is you start out with gen 1 (or gen 3 re-released) and everyone has access to only this for a set amount of time. At the end of which the next gen will be made available.
Let me know if anyone has seen this idea actively explored anywhere and if not your thoughts on the concept.

South Bay is so boring I feel like there's nothing to do here besides go to the beach. I love how chill and local everything is, but is the only nightlife around in LA? Hello everyone, this is my first post to the subreddit. I’ve been following Dr. K for along time, and I’ve found myself in a situation that I didn’t know where else to go to for help. I don’t know what to do in this situation, and I also want to know how to handle the stress I’m under.
I’m a 20 year old guy in college. I met my girlfriend (21) earlier this semester. She was very upfront with me that she has a dad that she doesn’t like and doesn’t let into her life. However, he still tries to be in her life.
She had a boyfriend before me of 5 years, but her dad forced her to break up with him. Basically, she kept trying over the 5 years she was with her boyfriend (from high school into college) to bring him over and introduce him to her dad. The dad kept making excuses to not let him come over, and was out of the house for the two times he did come over. One day he told my girlfriend to break up with the guy, and went to her ex’s house to talk with his parents. He told the parents that they should break up, and my girlfriend responded to him that she wants to stay with her ex. Later that night her dad beat her until she said she would break up with him. He said that she embarrassed him in front of her ex’s parents. After that, she secretly kept meeting with her ex on campus. Her dad then came onto campus one day and took pictures of them together and confronted her about it. He told her that if she didn’t break up with him permanently, he would go over to the ex’s house and kill his family. She hasn’t talked to her ex since then, and was scared of getting into another relationship. She has been working on not being afraid of her dad anymore, which is why she felt comfortable enough to be with me, but that fear is still hanging over her head, and now my head. On a side note, I personally cannot imagine how strong she must be to have lived with her dad for so long when I feel like I’m starting to break. The possibility of this guy wanting to kill me is terrifying me, and it must only be a fraction of what she has to deal with.
My girlfriend has since moved out of his house, gotten her own car, and has not seen him in person since then. She still answers his calls because if she blocks him and hides her location from him, he will start stalking her to find out what she’s doing. He is a gun owner and has crazy anger issues. He has also told her that if someone hurt her that he would hurt them, and that he would rather go to jail than let it slide. I’m scared of what he will do when he finds out one day that she has a new boyfriend.
She has tried to get a restraining order, but there was a police officer there who confronted her and knew her father. She came home to her dad being very upset that she tried to file a restraining order on him, so she canceled it. I told her she should try again now that she has moved out. She hasn’t fully talked to her mom and step dad yet (who she’s very close to) about the whole situation in detail. I told her she should do that as well and see what they say. I know it’s not my job to fix this, but I am now involved because I’m dating her.
From her description of her dad, he seems like he doesn’t want her to be independent so that she will have to rely on him and only him. I don’t know anything really though, and it’s all conjecture. He has had a new wife for a while, and he hasn’t tried to out right visit my girlfriend since they fought. So that tells me that he isn’t super insane at the very least.
I don’t know what else she can do and I can do other than for her to talk to her parents and try to file a restraining order again and a different police department. I also don’t know how to manage this stress. The best I’ve been able to do is humanize him a bit and imagine that he isn’t crazy enough to kill me on sight. I don’t want to leave her. I love her. Please don’t give advice like leave her. I’ve also already talked to my parents and they told me the same thing, but for some reasons I don’t want to get into, they are letting me be for the time being and are just advising caution.
TLDR: My girlfriend’s dad is a psycho and I’m scared he will hurt us if he finds out we are dating. How do I manage the stress, and what are our options?
