 | This lil guy has been through hell. This is the first time he has eaten in 3 weeks. He has battled a tank exposure to fish that attacked his antennae, severely bad water chemistry, and 6 days in a bucket with just an air stone. His snail buddy didn’t survive. He spent days and days just sealed up. I gave him air baths occasionally, if I could grab him easily, because I did not want to be constantly moving/disturbing him. As you can see he has detached some from his operculum. Will he slowly reattach over time or will he just carry on life with the operculum slightly detached? I know it is not the clearest pic but it gives you the idea. His foot is not wrinkled when cruising the tank. 2024.11.26 07:30 One_Entrepreneur9819 Sookie Stackhouse vs HBOs Trueblood
Question for people who have read Charlaine Harris’s Sookie Stackhouse series and have watched hbo’s Trueblood. I’ve been thinking this for years, and have never heard anything online or anywhere else. Do you like the show? I personally think the show is terrible. The book series is a serious guilty pleasure/ comfort read. I’ve read them all at least 10 times. That being said, I hate that the show dumbed down Sookie in the show. She also isn’t a size 2.
The first season is close enough but then it just goes off the rails. I wish they would put out a new version of the series. The books were always a type of murder mystery that has a smart woman solving the puzzle. She is uneducated and has “disability” that she is insecure about but that makes her pay attention to things the cops or vampires don’t. She is a southern conservative Christian that also believes in equality. I think the humor of the books were so lost in the show. It’s similar to Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens or most of Christopher Moore’s books. I just think it’s a shame we never got to see a movie or tv series that could really appreciate or come close to the books. What do you guys think?

Hello, M23 here. Has anyone else had problems with that sub? They seem to take themselves way too seriously.
I was in the cougar chat thread thingy, and I saw some wholesome images and gifs, and said, "I like the wholesome images and gifts(typo)."
I corrected it to gifs, and someone wrote, "You should've stuck with 'gifts' lol." (I thought they were joking about sgar m*ma stuff.)
Then I'd wrote, "Lol well gifts are nice, I gotta get a sgar mma!"
And they banned me just for this joke I made. For the record, I've never mentioned anything like that in any of my posts or anything I'd written in the chat previously. I'd made a few lame flirtatious comments in the chat, but mostly all I talked about was gardening.
The ban message also had a snarky comment about me being a gold-digger, which was obviously written by an insecure older woman.
