Sometime when we do CC's after entering all the correct info there is an error - "cannot submit at this time" instead of the "notified within 2 weeks". Was wondering if anyone knows why this happens and if it counts towards the numbers too?
CC's aren't my fav so I just wanna know how to go about NOT wasting time when they apply or just making sure they at least get the chance to get the 20 yknow.

It has been decades since I have personally built a PC, so I don't have any confidence and apparently I just see something shiny and follow it right into a trap. Was advised to post here before doing anything.
PC Intended Use:

What I already have:
My tiny bit of (re)search resulted in liking AMD 7950X3D. How do we feel about that?
Q1) On choosing a motherboard I ran into ASUS ProArt things and thought maybe go with the series, would that be wise/stupid/absolutely foolish?
Q2) I understand the ASUS tax, but I can justify that with the connectivity and looks. But how are we doing performance wise?
Q3) Is the cooling fan proper? Is it quiet enough so my wife can sleep through the night? PC is in the bedroom for weird reasons.
Q4) Should I also be getting new RAM?
Q5) A bit of a weird one, hope someone out there knows anything about this. I have a Huion Kamvas Pro 24 (4K) that is connected through 3x cables to my current PC: USB-C + HDMI + Power. Would the Thunderbolt replace all 3, or I'd still need it to be connected to the wall?
Appreciate all your advice.

In the process of learning Dorico and loving how the notation interacts with the DAW so that I can work with the VST's by "speaking notation" instead of "speaking MIDI." Trying to optimize the settings to get as much working smoothly within notation as possible (I know that for a true finished demo, there will need to be some exporting to a dedicated DAW to do final refinements, but hoping to do MOST of it in notation since I'm more familiar with notation compared to DAWs).
I've got access to both EastWest Hollywood Brass/Woodwinds/Strings which I've been loving, as well as Native Instruments Symphony Series. EastWest feels like it has more functionality, but I'm having trouble dialing it in, particularly with dynamics - both dynamics overall but also in how they relate to articulation. While Native Instruments has dynamics just run entirely through CC1 with the Mod Wheel, for overall loudness as well as timbre, EastWest shows that it runs both through CC1 and CC11 for dynamics (one for overall loudness, the other for dynamic contrast), but that for some articulations it also considers Velocity. And I'm struggling to get the expression mapping set up cleanly so that everything functions how I would expect it to in playback
I know the forums have a page dedicated to expression maps to share, and EastWest is on there, but the maps feel incomplete and/or incorrect. Not sure if I'm loading them incorrectly or if they're old or what. But I've tried making my own from scratch and have gotten close, but it's still not quite right.
Anybody use EastWest with Dorico and have a good setup they like to get dynamics and articulations running smoother?

And shortly after -usually when I try to close the game I'm playing- the entire system freezes. I have noticed no issues without the mouse. Could a mouse really be causing something like this?

Back in 2015 I took a job as a truck driver for a local bakery. My route included the MSP airport which meant I had to get a low level security clearance. Despite following protocol to the letter when I was making my morning deliveries, two TSA agents singled me out and bullied me every single day for two months. They'd yell at me and generally belittle me despite having no reason to do so. The first time it happened I maintained eye contact and just asked, "Why are you bullying me?" which was apparently what they wanted me to do. They both got in my face and mocked me in front of a dozen other truckers. I'm a small guy but I don't have a Napoleon Complex or a chip on my shoulder. I just do the work and try to be professional. I had to just take the undeserved punishment because these TSA agents were mad with power and chose me to haze. This went on until they got bored and started being surly but not overly mean toward me. I did the job for another year before leaving for greener pastures.
It's a decade later and I still think about those agents once in awhile. Did they hate me because I was short? Was I just unlucky?
Interested in whether my case was unique or commonplace

Hallo, ihr Lieben!
(Vorneweg: wir sind relative AnfängerInnen, was Holzarbeiten angeht, also seid bitte gnädig 🙈) Mein Mann und ich sind gerade dabei, einen Fantasy Escape Room in einem ehemaligen Büro mit großer Fensterfront selber aufzubauen. Da im Mittelalter so eine moderne Fensterfront eher unüblich war, möchten wir die Fenster verbergen, damit wir daraus das Wohnzimmer eines reichen Händlers machen können.
Wir haben angefangen, da quasi einfach eine Trockenbauwand vorzubauen: Metallprofile, OSB-Platten, Steinwolle (evtl. noch Rigips wegen Schallschutz), fertig. Woran wir aber nicht gedacht haben, ist die Kondensation 🙈 Wir haben von den zwei Fronten (je 3x2m BxH) erst eine gemacht, und da sieht man deutlich die Feuchtigkeit auf den Fenstern im Inneren, wenn man von außen guckt.
Wir haben jetzt an verschiedene Möglichkeiten gedacht:

  1. Unten und oben einen kleinen (1cm) Lüftungsspalt bei den Platten lassen und zusätzlich die Steinwollte nicht ganz bis auf den Boden und unter die Decke einlegen.
  2. Steinwolle ganz weg lassen.
  3. Solche: https://amzn.eu/d/7kJp1EF Lüftungsgitter bestellen und oben von links nach rechts in die Platten anbringen.
Gibt es sonst irgendetwas, was wir tun können? Wir hatten schon einen Tischler gefragt, der hat als eine Möglichkeit, die Fenster zuzumachen, auch Trockenbauwand vorgeschlagen, also scheint das ja generell zu gehen. Nur hat er sich leider auf Anfrage nicht mehr gemeldet und wir wissen nicht, wie genau er das gemacht hätte.
Habt ihr eine Idee? Vielen Dank schonmal für eure Vorschläge!

Let me give you our community "lore" first. The community was built in 2006 and was mainly just one road with houses. It was said that the people who bought their homes here in 2006 and 2007 were told that this was going to be a 55+ community. In 2015, it seems another developer bought the community and started adding more homes and completely squashed the 55+ rule and made it so anyone can live here. Our HOA president bought his home in 2007 and was under the impression it would be that 55+ rule. We are only assuming this, but a lot of people in our community believe that he is upset about the rule change and instead of moving himself, he tries to drive out young families. I know of atleast 10 families that have moved because of the stress of our HOA, and I am soon to be one of them. Our HOA constantly blows through management companies every year. I spoke to our last HOA manager and he told me he wasn't renewing his contact with us because of our president. I have this in writing, he told me our president was a pain in the ass to work with. Recently we have received 2 violations regarding our fence. One violation claims we have to have a 2 inch gap between the ground and our fence to allow for proper drainage. (We currenly have like an inch and a half of a gap) I looked in all our documents, rules, amendments, etc. and I cannot find anything stating the amount of inches. It just says it can't be flushed against the ground. Our architectural guidelines don't even state a specific amount of inches. I emailed our HOA regarding this, and their response is the photo above. I feel like they are just throwing words out of their rear. I am seriously so stressed out from living here. It gets worse as the months progress. We are selling our home in January because I physically and mentally cannot take it anymore. It's so bad that certain contractors don't even want to come look at my hurricane damage because of our HOA. I had one fence company tell me that their boss put our community on their black list because of our HOA president. Do I fight this fence thing or just comply?
