Hi to all.
I have a (probably dumb...) question about the existence of playing deviations when true count is zero or even negative: because we know we have an advantage over the dealer only when TC is +1 and above, are they in place only for players that are not allowed to leave the table and/or stop playing when TC is not favourable and so they at least try to play those hands at best mathematically even if they shouldn't play them at all?

2024.11.26 10:50 Difficult_Quarter192 Have to update every time I start game, and update fails every time.

For the last 4-5 days, everytime I log into my account, there is an update to do that takes about 2-3 minutes. Everytime it's complete, I click "restart", the patcher launches, and fails at 20% with the critical error "Couldn't patch Turtle Wow. See tw_update.log for details."
When I open that log, I get the following mistake (see picture).

Now, I've looked at my Anti-Virus and everything, and nothing seems to be blocking the patcher. At this point, if I try to relaunch Twow, it says the patch is ready to be applied.
The only way to proceed is to manually launch TWPatcher, wait for it to patch and open Twow, close Twow, reopen Twow and then log-in.
If I try to log in after having manually launched TWPatcher, it will download the same patch one more time.
I have deleted WDB folder (many times).
Any suggestions on what might trigger all this?
Windows 12 64bits, HP Laptop, i5-1135G7 (doubt that it's relevant in anyway, but...)

Hey guys! I’m in need of some help with my 9800x3d Sooo TLDR I build pcs for a living on average 4-8 a week. I’ve always ran Intel in my personal pcs but I finally switched to the 9800X3D from a 10900k and I’ve been having an issue where every morning my pc has encountered a “soft crash”. I’m still able to to move my mouse around I’m still able to hit the window key and have it pop up. But I’m not able to click on anything I can’t shut down or restart the pc without actually holding down the power button on the case. “I never shut my pc off” This has happened maybe 7 ish times since I built it on the 17th. Has anyone encountered something similar with the 9800x3d or any am5 cpu?? Thanks in advance!
Specs : 9800x3d Gigabyte x870e pro ice Corsair 2x16gb 6000 CL 36. “My teamgroup 8200 didn’t post” 1tb ssd m.2 Rtx 4080 1300w Windows 10 pro

My ex and I dated 6 years ago for around 6 months, and then she reached out to me recently and we eventually started things back up. Our relationship lasted about 2 months and then she ended things again.
It’s particularly hard for me right now thinking about messaging her back. It’s been about a month since things ended and I keep spiraling in my head over the fact she reached out but didn’t want to stick through it. Makes me think I can talk to her and work things out again since we had essentially done that once before.
I often write the message but don’t hit send. I hear so many say it will get better with time but it sometimes comes back in waves that are worse than ever.
When our first relationship ended I saw it coming but she had lied at the time about why she left. I reached out to her later on and she was angry. We were young back then so I had forgiven her.
When she ended things a month ago, I didn’t really see it coming. She had just invited me over to meet her parents.
The morning after she left me I sent her a long text asking for clarification and wishing things could be worked on etc. She left me on read and I haven’t heard from her since then. I told her I wouldn’t message her anymore if she didn’t respond back that day. I guess I should make my promise true. My head is just creating so many false hopes. I’ve taken many steps forward to move on and I keep thinking messaging her will help me move on
