I'm sorry if this is all over the place.
My dad died, on Wednesday, November 20th, 2025. At 10:30 p.m. it was a car accident. It is being viewed as a vehicle homicide at the moment. (Dad = victim)
I heard about it at 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 21st, 2024. His (separated but still legally married) wife found out around 10 a.m. Her niece found out at 9:21 a.m. (she commented on the photo of Dad's car so the detective reached out to her). Why, was I told so late? I was the first of his immediate family (is that still possible anymore when everyone is no contact?) to know.
I had to tell my sisters and brother. I had to tell his parents.
I'm struggling here. Everyone. Everyone was no contact with this man. He was a horrible man who continuously refused to respect what everyone asked for. So everyone was tired.
But I always went back. Because he is (was?) my daddy. But this last fight we had on November 10th. Oh God. I said awful things. He said horrible things.
I don't want those to be the last things I said to my daddy.
But they are. And I'm devastated.
I just don't know how to make sense of things. There's a million things going on in my head and I can't stop thinking.
I don't know how to properly grieve. I don't know how not to spiral. I don't know how to mourn the man that never provided, but verbally always said how much he loved us.
I'm lost. Please help

I am not yet an expert when it comes to record players, but I would like to buy one. After some searching, I've found two models that I like both visually and in terms of price: the House of Marley Stir It Up and the SONY PS-LX310BT.
I also have two speaker options in mind: the Sonos Era 100 or the Edifier R1280DB.
What do you think of these combinations? Which of the two pairs of turntables and speakers would you recommend? Or do you have any other suggestions that are in the $300-400 price range for both?

I'm a gold 2 support trying to get better at the game. One thing i really struggle with is knowing when to pick what, i play a wide variety of enchanters and engage/tanks and can pick between those based on my team comp (do we need more tanks, do we need more cc?) but never based on the enemy comp. There's so many possible matchups it feels impossible to remember which champ is good against which, anyone here has any resource to learn that?

Hello~ Im kind of a NEET right now so i should have tons of free time and would love to spend it gaming with someone and form new connections. Life has not been very kind to me as my irl friend group fizzle out and i felt pretty isolated so thats why im looking for more friends online. Right now i play some competitive multiplayer games just not very into ranked and more fond of casual play: League of Legends (ARAM mostly), Valorant, Overwatch (Just started) and Supervive.
Other than that i do enjoy a lot of coop games if competitive is not what you into: DRG, Boderlands series, Terraria, Minecraft, Barotrauma. GTFO, Total War Warhammers 3, Overcooked, Plate up! and more.
Outside of gaming i also enjoy reading, writing and cooking. We can also just chill and binge watch some show/movie/anime. If you think we might click in some way please hmu!

Currently I am abroad and will be returning home with extra Euros and Pounds (physical paper). I just wanted to make sure that I can go to one of the BofA financial centers in America and exchange my foreign paper for American currency (credited or paper)

2024.11.26 10:40 Due-Penalty-5561 Insomnia ever since falling asleep and waking up to pulmonary embolism
2 years ago, I had a bilateral pulpmary embolism out of nowhere, unprovoked (21 years old)
When I first arrived at hospital in the middle of the, the ED staff told me straight up that they had assessed me as low risk and it might be better to go home and sleep.
After 4 hours of waiting, I gave up and followed their advice, and went home to sleep. Then 4 hours later I woke up barely able to breath, terrified, a lot of pain etc. Got an Uber to the hospital and had to wait another 8 hours to get in, only for them to tell me repeatedly there was noooo way it's anything serious like a blood clot (lol, after another 8 hours for them to shuffle me through testing, turns out it was).
Now, any time I go to the ED, they see me in 5 minutes FLAT. They tell me I'm the youngest they'd ever seen, they never could have predicted it would be that bad, etc. At the time I thought I dealt with the scary situation pretty well, but something I've noticed is that ever since then... I don't like sleeping anymore.
Like, I can't sleep unless I exhaust myself entirely so that I have no choice. I stay up even though I really need to sleep, doing nothing in particular, I just can't bring myself to sleep by myself anymore.
I used to love sleeping, actually. But I guess thinking about the fact that if the pain didn't wake me, if I didn't persist and refuse to leave and self advocate, I would have DIED. That these staff would have killed me. It's just really fucked...
Any advice appreciated
