In the past I would think reaching a net worth of 100k was crazy and wonderful, like a dream come true, like one of the biggest achievements you could reach.
Then I got there and I was really really happy and it felt so good and fulfilling.
But as time went on and my net worth started to grow it felt like it was less and less as time went by.
Fast forward to this day, I just reached half a million yesterday. Despite feeling amazing and being really happy, I feel as though I have less money than I had when I only had 100k.
What the hell is wrong with me? It just doesn’t feel as much anymore, I don’t know how to explain it, but I just wanna get more and more and more, it doesn’t feel enough and it doesn’t feel like that much either, compared to having only 100k, which I know it’s crazy and sounds crazy because 500k is five times the amount of 100k, but it still feels little… what’s wrong with me?

I know Buzzfeed is libfem but some of the videos were pretty cool. I remember watching a video on there about a female athletes swimmer. The comments on that video was super misogynistic. There were so much people disliking and makeing anti-buzzfeed video's. Buzzfeed got so much hate they had to change there name and it was never the same again.
I miss those feminist videos on YouTube and on the internet. Now the internet is filled with misogynistic, MRA bullshit. I can't go two seconds on the internet without some guy making fun of women or feminism.

2024.11.26 13:29 bundleofnonsense Questions follow a TMJ diagnosis from urgent care.
I will try to keep this brief. I[23F] went to urgent care yesterday when I noticed my mastoid was enlarged (all things lead me to believe it is the bone because it is rock solid). Up until then I had been experiencing some dizziness, a tender lump right behind my jaw below my ear, and a muscle in my jaw felt a swollen (all on the right side). I was also starting to experience fullness in the same ear and pain. I had attributed the earlier symptoms to a combination of an increase in my medication (Wellbutrin) the week prior and I thought I may had been clenching my jaw when wearing my retainer at night so I stopped wearing that about a week ago as well. I've been on antibiotics twice since the beginning of September for other things (kidney infection and strep throat) in case that is relevant.
The nurse practitioner diagnosed me with TMJ and then offered to flush my ears since I had a lot of wax build up. A nurse did that and when the NP reexamined my ear she said there was irritation in my right ear but it was probably because of having that wax removed. I was born with a difference in that ear that she described as"cartilage around the ear drum" (I'm not sure if that is relevant but she did ask me about it). I had seen an ENT when I was a preteen for balance issues was told I had some sort of difference in one ear but was always unclear on the specifics. She recommended I ice the area.
This visit happened yesterday and since then I noticed I can not hear as well in my right ear and I would say it seems worse today.
My questions: -How long is this type of hearing loss normal? -Should I see a doctor if these symptoms do not improve? -How long until l should see my PCP about this? -Does TMJ sound like the most likely culprit? I'm open to the possibility, but she diagnosed me with it before even feeling anything beyond the muscle in my jaw and it feels a little off to me.
I trust my PCP 1000%, I adore her. I have no problems following up with her but I don't want to waste her time either if I really should just be seeing a dentist.

For context, I’ve (26F) been seeing this guy (24M) for a few months non-exclusively, though it’s been explicitly heading towards a monogamous relationship the past few weeks. I have a history of trauma with SA as well as being lied to in relationships. Both him and my therapist are aware.
The past few weeks I had the nagging feeling that I couldn’t trust the guy, although he didn’t give major reasons I couldn’t trust him. I ended up snooping through his phone a few times and all I found was some instagram DMs with women - nothing out of the ordinary considering we’re not exclusive and have both shared that we’ve dated other people. I talked to my therapist about it and she told me I was going to ruin a great relationship one day if I keep up this habit of snooping, which I agreed, so I’ve been trying to work on my trust issues and chalking up my distrust of him to my own traumas. I also talked to him about my insecurities which he did his best to reassure me about.
One morning I woke up and felt like I needed one last “snoop” in order to squash these feelings of distrust. I ended up going through his hidden photos and I discovered a video of us having sex. I was not aware he took the video and I don’t know what he planned to do with the video. I ended up telling him we should take a break and I need time to think. The next day I told my therapist what happened and she said we both violated each others trust and I basically did the same thing he did by snooping, and that I need to learn to trust him. Not sure what to think now and considering taking him back.

I adopted my cat, from an animal hospital almost 2 years ago and she still hides and runs scurries away. I don’t see her, rarely. She is always hiding. I don’t think she is happy here. I don’t know what to do, I’m stuck between just letting her live out life hiding here and dying whenever or should I take her back to the animal shelter. She’s not thriving here, just ruining my couches doesn’t use her scratch posts. She has everything a cat could want but she just doesn’t care. It’s really irritating. I’ve been so patient.
