Hello all!
I'm using Aeon on my laptop, working great so far. Problem are the timely updates as I leave the system on standby and power over night to use it with battery over the day.
I understand that updates will be downloaded and installed after a random amount of time after boot if running on AC power. I already tuned this random period down to 15 minutes.
Is there a possibility to trigger updates even when on battery power (I know the manual way, but it there a way to change the way the service is working?)

Hello!
So F22 and I’m experiencing bleeding in between my periods.
I had a smear test done 2 weeks ago that has come back normal, had an internal ultrasound done at gynecologist & had a gynecologist check done at my doctors. Only thing they said was that my mucus membrane was red and irritated & that I had a lot of egg follicles (she asked if I had PCOS) but I don’t. Else everything was normal
I have given birth through c-section 11 months ago and I’m still breastfeeding. Gained 20kg. Has had periods since 8 weeks but they vary in flow, sometimes just spotting for 8 days other times heavy flow for 8 days.
Could it just be hormonal? Or what are your thoughts.

Pairing Ent-E Picard with Ent-E Data has made loot collection much less of a pain. But VS some hostiles the ship they're on doesn't survive as long.
Mostly it's a problem with my Vi'Dar VS Borg probes. It's currently T6 with everything but the railgun upgraded.
With Pike Moreau T'laan I could *just* fill the cargo hold without exploding in Roda Delta but it takes quite a while to get there.
With Picard and Data and T'laan and other 3rds I've tried I can get 2/3rd to 3/4th full. I get there a lot faster but it would be nicer to be able to fill it up.
I have no other officers in their group, but how about someone who boosts any officer's Captain ability to collect even more loot faster?
Taking more damage isn't an issue VS swarm. I'm having to do lvl 32 for dailies and I just send my maxed out Bortas and Saladin to a lvl 32 system and shoot 50. Picard and Data just get me more frequency modulators.
They're also making collecting Technological Distinctiveness with my T2 Cube enormously faster. I only need to cutting beam kill four ships with 33K hull in Cardassia to collect enough for a full pull in refinery.

I’m reaching out for advice regarding the process of applying for German citizenship under Section 5 of the Nationality Act (StAG), specifically acquisition by declaration through descent. This seems to apply to my situation, but I’ve been facing significant challenges trying to navigate the application process.
I'm trying to apply for both, my mother and myself.
I live in Karachi, Pakistan, and my local German Consulate has not been helpful so far. I first visited the German Consulate General Karachi on October 26, 2023, accompanied by my grandmother, who is a current German citizen (she acquired her citizenship through declaration as well in 1980). She is keen that I get my German Citizenship for traveling especially since we have close relatives living there. I took a printout of the relevant law from the Bundesverwaltungsamt (BVA) website to support my case. However, the staff member I spoke with seemed unfamiliar with the law, didn’t offer clear guidance, and promised to look into it but never followed up.
I decided to try again on January 3, 2024, and this time I went prepared with all the necessary documents:
○My mother’s birth certificate
○My parents’ marriage certificate
○My birth certificate
○My passport
○A criminal background check
○My grandmother’s citizenship certificate (with case number)
○Completed application forms for Section 5 from the BVA website
(note: i do not have my great grandmother's birth or marrige certificate and also don't have my grandmother's birth certificate. i plan to give in my grandmother's case number so they can acces that information.)
Unfortunately, I encountered the same staff member, who didn’t bother reviewing my documents, behaved unprofessionally, and even told me not to return to the Consulate. She said I should expect an email within a week, but 46 weeks have passed since then, and I haven’t heard back.
I’m at a loss about how to move forward and would greatly appreciate advice on:
- The official steps for applying for German citizenship under Section 5 of StAG.
- A clear list of documents required to support my application.
- Any alternative ways to submit the application in case my local Consulate remains unhelpful.
- Also what should I do next?

•her father was a Pakistani citizen when she was born (he is still Pakistani)

•my father was a Pakistani citizen when I was born (he is still Pakistani)
Questions that may be relevant:
Was it my great grandmother who moved to Pakistan and married a foreigner? Yes
How did my grandmother naturalize in 1979? She applied for the certificate of acquisition of german citizenship through declaration.
Was everyone born in wedlock? Yes, we were all born in wedlock.
Did my grandmother at some point, return to Germany and was naturalized in 1979? No, she did not return to Germany for naturalization at any point, the declaration was done in Pakistan and approved by der Regierungspräsident in Darmstadt.
