The Barrens is one of if not the most overhyped zones in Classic. Now this does not mean I hate this zone, just that it doesn’t match the hype behind it (except barrens chat, that exceeded expectations). Also every time I hear that clarinet and Trumpet go off it send me back to playing wrath with my dad when I was just a kid, very fond memories. Before classic released everyone I knew and myself were saying how the Barrens was the best Horde zone by far, and how much fun it was to do back in the day. But for me now, I realize a lot of its flaws. Personally, the Barrens were just a slog to get through. Horrendous drop rates (even for classic) on the centaur bracers and zhevra hooves. The road from Mulgore to crossroads is awful with the amount of skull level or red level enemies that aggro from a mile away. And with fetch quests being my least favorite, the barrens has the worst imo until Hillsbrad. I match rather prefer Durotar and Tirisfal glades as peak horde zones, and I Will die on this hill.
TLDR; Barrens while being a good zone is way too overhyped.

 | Why am I feeling buyers remorse from returning my laptop I just got from Best Buy the Lenovo yoga 7 with Ryzen 7 8840hs and rx7780 whatever the Radeon innegrated graphics are and getting a dell Inspiron 2 in 1 with 2560 x 1600 display touch screen 90hz integrated graphics no dedicated GPU and 16:10 display with core ultra 7 155h cou and Intel arc innegrated graphics. The only upgrade I got was a better screen and 90hz refresh rate gs 60 which 60hz was awful to look at and 32Gb of ram but if I ever wanted to I couldn’t upgrade the ram over time like I can on the HP omen 16.1 inch if I went with that. The HP omen has a worse screen on it and is 16:9 vs 16:10 on the Dell Inspiron and only 1920 x 1080, but has 165hz refresh rate and a etc 4060 with 16gb ram which can be upgraded to 64gb ram if I ever needed it down the line for cybersecurity and has a Intel core i7 13620H which but only has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 IPs 165hz. I just feel like the dell Inspiron laptop I gun runs more laggy and slow than my old Lenovo yoga 7 and the Lenovo yoga 7 feels more premium and better built and looks better than the dell and the speakers sounded way better on it same with the keyboard but the display was crap on it Lenovo just put all the budget into the built quality keyboard and CPU that’s about it cuz the display was only 60hz and it was advertised for creator, but the display is only sRGB 45% colors are so washed out on it and looks very plain and dull and the dell feels more cheap and plastic and less durable and I just keep asking myself why did and why would I ever spend $500 more on a laptop to not have a GPU and be able to upgrade to 64gb ram down the line if I ever needed cuz right now I’m stuck with just 32Gb ram which is soldered onto this laptop and can’t be upgraded. Do I return the dell Inspiron and get the HP omen for a worse display and better performance or keep the dell Inspiron cuz on the dell induction it has a touchscreen and is a 2 in one comes with a pen and I can use it to do math on it n stuff if I wanted to for school next semester. I just keep wondering why I would spend $500 more on a laptop to not get any gains in performance and just looks and display. What do I do here cuz if I really wanted to or needed to I could just return the dell Inspiron and get the HP Omen or any others around that price with the same specs. The main issue I have is I prioritized looks over performance here and it’s just for what I need this laptop for I’m running multiple VMs at a single time and I literally only had 2 VMs opened windows 10 and windows 11 vm with web browser opened and 3 taps opened one of which was my assignment submission page and I was ready at 18gb used and when I opened up kali Linux cuz I sometimes need all 3 VMs opened together it was reaching 20gb used but the crazy thing is when no VMs are being used and I just have web browser opened it’s a whooping 15gb ram is being used at once with only 8 tabs opened and nothing else is running. I even checked the arrow on the bottom right and checked task manager and disabled everything I could on both host windows 11 and VM windows 10 and windows 11 and still so much ram is being used and I can’t get a single YouTube video to run or web page to load and this shit is so much slower than my desktop computer which has a Intel Core i9 14900k with 64gb cl30 6000 ram and RX6950xt soon to be rtx 5080. But I could just be too spoiled form such a fast machine that it makes this laptop feel so slow cuz I’m used to everyone loading up instantly and no lag. But I feel like all this is making me need more than 32Gb ram. I have already read the manual and got familiarized with the mechanism (look at the photo) but I still don´t know if it would be a good idea to just shoot according to the manual or according previus experience with other cameras (for example the manual recommends to use the lens mostly on f 6.3). I have a tripod in case I need to make long exposures and I´ll use an Ilford Delta 400 120mm.
