Hey what’s up?
I’m a 27 year old graduate from Ireland working in HR (exciting I know!). I played rugby for 15 years before a bad knee injury sidelined me and now I’ve taken up running to keep me active. Completed my first marathon before Covid and hoping to build up to an Ironman triathlon in the not so distant future.
I love music and movies from all different genres. Everything from Springsteen to Taylor Swift, AC/DC to Pavarotti and anything in between. An eclectic taste one might say. The same goes for movies just not horror!!

I saw an ad for a book. I didn’t get the name of it, but it went something like this. It was either a pregnant omega or human and she was maybe some kind of servant or prisoner in the alpha castle. He finally banished her or kicked her out and she gets on a ship to leave but she’s pregnant and she knows she’s pregnant and he only finds out that she’s pregnant once she leaves and so he sends people out to search for her and capture her back but she’s already boarded a ship to take her elsewhere.
I don’t know if this is a completely different book, but there is a story that I remember where a girl is a powerful hybrid. She’s like half wolf half mermaid or something like that, and her main rejects her because he thinks she’s weak or something like that, not knowing that she was coming into more power and I think she accepts his rejection only for her birthday to pass and reveal her hybrid or tribrid nature.

Salutare! Recent am fost diagnosticat cu o tumoră la testiculul stâng. Am fost la 2 medici urologi, dr Multescu(Bucuresti) si dr Suditu(Iași) care au avut același diagnostic. Intre timp am făcut și CT și am descoperit 2 ganglioni din zona pelvină care sunt inflamati(16 și 30mm). M-ar ajuta mult dacă aș primi ceva recomandări din partea celor care au fost in aceeași situație cu a mea. La ce medici v-ați operat, care au fost costurile, cum a decurs operația și perioada de după etc. Mulțumesc!

I am aiming to learn the skills of two professions; SOC Analyst and Cybersecurity Engineer. Here is the diagram for reference: https://imgur.com/a/rDrdem2
I will be creating an in-depth (as in depth my knowledge goes lol) network with multiple components. The purpose of this project is to learn the fundamentals of network architecture (i.e. how different server types communicate securely or insecurely with other servers or clients) from a cybersecurity pov, be able to set up a defense plan for the network (utilize IDS/IPS, SIEMs for monitoring and threat response), and then see what happens in security tool reporting when the network is compromised by a simulated threat using Kali w/ Hydra for example.
Disclaimer: I'm relatively new to cybersecurity (8 months). I am a cybersecurity systems analyst where my work consists of 80% GRC and 20% endpoint security. I am dying to venture out to the SOC and/or Cybersecurity Engineering professions because I'm a much more technical individual. So as you review my diagram keep in mind I am likely missing a lot of components that would make up an actual network security architecture. I tried to keep it relatively simple and repeatable based on the research I have done. (You don't know what you don't know)
Brief list of components
- Will be hosted on GCP (because they're providing $300 in credits, and I've ran out of Azure and AWS credits from other projects)
- Multiple server types
- pfSense - for firewall and routing
- ModSecurity - WAF function for nginx
- Wazuh - for overall security monitoring and log collection
- Snort - for IDS/IPS function. I want the DMZ, Private subnet, and the user group to be monitored for max security.
- A windows/linux endpoint cluster, some insecure (disabling local firewall/av), some secure.
- I'm considering using Terraform to get familiar with IaaC to help build out the project
