39F, I have what I believe is food poisoning. On Saturday night I had a glass of milk out of a brand new container that tasted a bit sour. I dipped the oreos in it so it didn't hit me until I had 3 cookies and then took a big sip and I checked the expiration date and it was right at the sell by date. My husband smelled the milk and said it was definitely bad. Within about 6 hours I had completely liquid diarrhea and was very nauseous. The next morning I threw up anything left in my stomach, mostly liquid at that point. My body hurt an absolutely incredible amount (back, stomach, thighs, arms) and I had a low grade fever of 100. I threw up any fluids the rest of sunday and continued to have completely liquid diarrhea. The aches and fever finally relented on Sunday night (the last throwing up was about 1am) and I struggled my way through work on Monday. Thankfully I am keeping liquids down at this point and had a little bit of rice for dinner, but now on Tuesday I am still really nauseous and having completely liquid diarhea. Aches and fever are gone though. I have had food poisoning before and last time it had run its course by 12 hours, this seems kinda long for food poisoning. I live with my husband and he is fine so I don't think its norovirus. The only other symptom that is a bit concerning is I have an apple watch and my heart rate at rest is 120-130 so I keep getting the high heart rate alert.
Should I seek medical attention at this point or just wait for it to ride out? If it is noro I don't want to run the risk of giving it to relatives at thanksgiving. Thanks everyone!

Hi all. Am I crazy? Iāve been having crazy skin sensitivity. Almost feels like a bad sun burn but the skin looks completely normal. No redness, no signs of visible irritation. It feels like the skin is very irritated, the areas are between my thighs (right inner right). My right hip area and my right upper thigh area. Underwear, jeans, any fabric and even sensitive to the touch. It just hurts, itās not unbearable. More just irritation and annoying but itās been like this for a few weeks now. Anyone else have this as a side effect?

Whilst I understand this is purely an anxiety and personal issue, I canāt help but be frustrated at how much my mother and father in law clearly prefer my sister in laws new boyfriend than meā¦
Me and my partner have been together 7 years and within that time Iāve helped her through some very dark days that her family failed to aknowledge, due to SA from a family friend when she was younger. I helped my partner into therapy and sheās now in a much better place and has shared her experience with her family, who did not take it so well (as he was a close family friend) they almost begrudgingly thanked me for being there for her (I feel they have their own issues that could do with therapy but never would) and since then, itās almost as if weāre a burden in the family. We live a few hrs away and come down very regularly, whereas they hardly ever come down to see us, when weāve just recently purchased our first home together and constantly ask if they would like to stay.
My partnerās younger sister is in her first relationship with a male (even though we thought she was gay herself) heās slightly older and is also the son of family friends, but is known in the family, as heās also previously dated two of my sister in laws friends, one of which is my MILās bfs daughterā¦ this nearly broke up a strong friendship group. The first time I met him was at my in laws house, where he was dating her friend, so all very odd, but theyāve come to terms with itā¦ They worship the ground he walks on and my FIL has a soft spot and has become ābest brosā with him, something Iāve tried over the years myself with him, as my dad has been absent and I have tried to take up a new father daughter bond, but something always seems to be missing, ever since the new boyfriend has come in the picture, I feel invisible and an annoyance whenever weāre all in the same room and whenever he speaks to me now.
I keep fairly to myself now when the family comes together, especially when heās present as heās quite dominating and the first time we did something as a āfamilyā he was very competitive and made me feel pushed out of the experience. When I go to see my in laws now, he always takes over and asks if I know where things are and that he will get them (even though Iāve been in the family 7 years and him in the relationship just over a year) and know where everything is..
My in-laws are also constantly going out with him and his family (even without my sister in law present) so they have a very close relationship and only recently have they bothered to mingle with mine (I appreciate we live a few hours away) but my family have always invited them over to stay or offered to come up and they never take them up on the offers, Iāve had to almost force them to come to my sides important family events recently, so theyāve only just started to get to know them and on the most recent gatherings, my mother in law has moaned in private to my partner and I saying my family dress up too much and go to places which are too expensive (it was one nice restaurant for a special occasion but she brings it up regularly) and complained the whole time we were there about everything my family did, whereas my side have had nothing but positive things to say about my in-laws, they donāt realise my partnerās side have been complaining about them in secret, so it makes me so upset that my family have been nothing but kind and welcoming and itās still not good enough.
I donāt know if itās a problem because weāre in a lesbian relationship and theyāre in a straight relationship, theyāve never had an issue with my partner being gay, but the clarity of how much one sided each sistepartner is makes me so upset.
Weāre all going on a very long family vacation soon and itās giving me major anxiety and making me not want to go as I donāt feel apart of the family anymore, when we used to get along pretty well before he came into the picture.

Heya!
I feel guilty for posting this but my marriage doesn't make me very happy. My wife has a hard time being physically affectionate due to her past and "not being used to it." despite us being married for nearly 4 years.
This really sucks for me because I really crave physical affection as I was denied it all my life, growing up with an abusive parent. I'm hoping to find a friend who can give me moral support in this, because right now I feel alone despite being married, and that's not a good feeling.
I'm a nerdy, cheerful person. I can be goofy and say dumb bathroom humor level jokes or talk very deeply depending on the vibe. I plan to study to become a therapist to help people, like me, who suffered a lot during their childhood live "normal" lives.
I've struggled with mental health most of my life due to my childhood traumas and have recently made big strides in making it better. It's made me feel unlovable because I'm not the provider I feel like a husband should be. And my wife knows this, and sometimes makes it clear that I'm not great in this aspect and I'm lucky she's so patient which reinforces my negative feelings about myself. I'm hoping to find a supportive friend to help me break that loop.
