So the joys of having multiple conditions to deal with, includes drug counselling sessions. So I am actually lucky that I have multiple because it gives a gateway into medication that may help with this disease. My Crohn's specialist had requested I start Upadacitinib. Screening before drug starts includes a 10 year risk of heart attack, so I am pleased to say my risk of having a heart attack is 1/10 over the next 10 years. The justification behind this drug is Crohn's disease, but the reality is that I wouldn't get this for hidradenitis, so the doctor wants to see how I respond to it with the hidradenitis symptoms. This to me shows how drug therapy is monitored and identified as being a suitable medication for other diseases. It gives hope that actually, even though we don't always see the research behind the scenes, it's important to realise that it is happening, and that other diseases might provide a break through for something else. Never underestimate, never undervalue, never deminish someone else's experiences, because they may just be the pivot point of a change in attitude and awareness to HS always hold on to hope.

I have returned from multiple months abroad where I was eating a lot more than usual, the food was amazing, but I have now gained 6kg and most of my clothes don’t fit. before i left i weighed between 54-56kg and i’m now sitting around 61-62kg. i want to lose this weight as soon as possible and i’m wondering what the best calorie deficit for this is? not fitting into my clothes is not good for my mental health and i don’t have the funds to buy a whole new wardrobe.
i’m a female, 26, and approx 5’5-5’7 (i don’t know my actual height). in the last 5 years my natural weight without exercise or a calorie deficit has been as low as 48kg and therefore this weight gain is quite substantial for me. would love any advice you can give, thank you!

first of all, sorry for being annoying.
I've been feeling so upset lately, so sad about my life. I finally am working on my dream job and it doesn't even feel right, like what am i doing?
I've lost my cat who was my whole life for over 10 years and i still can't believe i'm alive and he's dead. Tried buying a bunch of worthless stuff to forget about it for a minute and it didn't work, at all. Funny because you can have everything you want in life but if just one thing, the most important thing is missing, hell you've got nothing. i got nothing.
I feel worthless.
Also i've been drinking too much energy drinks and diet soda because it kinda sooths my nervous ass, idec if it's bad for me anymore.
I'm just looking forward for my doctor appointment on friday because i'm currently off AD and i'm gonna ask to be on it again because my life right now is just unbearable

As a followup to my previous post, I was able to make a direct attachment between my tripod projector stand and my Peerless mount which was formerly mounted on the ceiling.
Projector mounts receive a 1.5" NPT pipe thread, and camera mounts use a 1/4"-20 screw. I linked the two via these two adapters: (1) (2)
My tripod stand didn't actually have a 1/4-20 screw, so I retrofitted one into the telescoping tube with tube nuts. I used two for better alignment along the tube's axis (a common complaint with tube nuts is that it's hard to get perfectly perpendicular).
So far it feels pretty solid and I'm quite pleased with the minimalist look.

I have just started using my first credit card: SBI SimplyCLICK with a credit limit of just 32000 INR. I paid the due amount as soon as the statement was generated, however, my utilisation was about 90% of the limit.
My goal is to build a good credit score so I can get better cards in the future.
Should I restrict my usage to less than 30%? If I do this, will they ever increase my limit on this card?

as a kid i moved alot, my longest time at one school being 2 years. cause of this i never really have had a group of friends, i’ve experienced it once in grade 9 but ive always just had one really close friend and maybe one other friend wherever ive gone and not long after ive had to move away.
i so badly want more friends and i want to go do things and have girls nights in and do all that stuff and be able to say things like the girls and i are doing blah blah blah…
but how are people making friends? ive tried groups on social media that are for making friends but we start a conversation and it fizzles out to never speak again, i want to meet people in real life and make friends with them.
i’m starting to think im just weird or something or strange maybe im an alien and people secretly know lol jk but idk i just have some troubles with this

Arrived at USPS Regional Origin Facility, INDIANAPOLIS IN DISTRIBUTION CENTER I've found that shipping from outside the country through DHL is often more reliable than using shipping companies in the United States. I'm really getting tired of USPS and think I might start opting for sellers who offer shipping through UPS or FedEx instead. In the past, l've had USPS not even refund the seller for an item I purchased, so the seller just ate the cost and sent me another item. This is just embarrassing for USPS, but it appears they don't take responsibility for this.
