I haven’t really thought about this situation for a few months already until I was browsing this sub today and figured id make a post about it. This is just an observation that I made and I wanted to share it with you guys. Just a bit of information as I introduce myself, I’m F17 and a student. I posted on a WOMAN over 30 advice sub a few months back on how to deal with a sexist comment my dad made. He basically was ranting in the car about how ALL women can’t drive (i don’t live with him btw only see him a few times a month bc my parents are divorced). I asked the older women in the sub how to deal with this comment and not let it affect me and I received a good amount of responses the next day. What did I observe? Out of all the encouragement from the women, there were four comments telling me how “disgraceful” I was for shaming my father (someone who I should be grateful for because many children don’t even have one.) and telling me how I should delete my post. Mind you, I never said anything hurtful about my dad or how I “hate him” for his comment, I only strictly and respectfully asked how to deal with said comment being a woman myself. All. of. them. we’re male accounts. ON A GODDAM WOMANS SUB. Of course they were downvoted to oblivion, but I just find it funny how all of them were men I guess hiding in a woman’s advice forum, ready to pounce.

2024.11.26 11:55 Trolly4 Began treatment with Seroquel and I'm not sure about it

So my new psychiatrist prescribed me 25mg of Seroquel. I took it for 2 days now and on those 2 days I couldn't wake up in the morning. I missed university for 2 days now because of , obviously, the Seroquel.
Is it normal to not be able to wake up after taking Seroquel? I read here and on other subs that 25mg dosage is usually treated for sleep. Which makes me question my psychiatrist decision.
Honestly I prefer going off meds then taking a med which knocks me down this hard.

I have several friends from years back who, after the Closure announcement was made, immediately stopped playing. From what I understand, if they have gone past >30 days, they will not be able to carry forward saved data and therefore, if they bought the new game, they'd have to start from scratch.
But are there people who as just NOT going to go forward to the new game? I'm going to move over but I don't know how game play or appearance and layout etc etc is going to pan out, so I'm a bit nervous* of it being so different to Pocket camp.
*not the word I'm looking for but I can't think of it
My favourite things are the wee animations and reactions to furniture etc in camp. I love seeing campers using swings, or eating at tables or having an ice-cream!!

Hello strangers of Reddit. A high position PI appropriated my research and published without acknowledging my contributions or citing me. The president of the institution is trying to get us into an agreement strongly favoring the PI. I believe the reason to be that he was part of the management before moving to another institution. For context: - I was a postdoctoral in the PI’s lab. - Everybody from the institution involve with the claim refers to what happened as mistake and not as plagiarism or misconduct. - The PI and another person involve in the misconduct will have no repercussions whatsoever
So my question is: Should I let know the PI’s new institution about this? Am I risking anything if I make all this information public?
