Freunde der Sonne,
ich bräuchte Eure Hilfe: Seit September '24 haben wir einen Smart Meter installiert. Ich habe unmittelbar danach unseren Strombezug auf einen dynamischen Tarif umgestellt. Anfangs hat das auch problemlos funktioniert.
Als letztens der Techniker des Netzbetreibers (wegen einer anderen Sache) da war, hat er festgestellt, dass der Smart Meter keinen Empfang hat. Er hat daher dessen Antenne verlegt, danach hatte das Gerät tatsächlich Empfang - allerdings nur bis ungefähr am Abend dieses Tages. Seitdem leuchtet das "Signal"-Licht des Smart Meters rot. Wundert mich auch nicht, wir haben tatsächlich schlechten Mobilfunkempfang im Keller. Es müsste wohl die Antenne nochmals verlegt werden (Richtung Fenster, so ist es bei unserer Alarmanlage auch). Auf meine mehreren diesbezüglichen Mails an den Netzbetreiber hat dieser genau so reagiert, wie ich mir das vorgestellt hat: gar nicht.
Daher:
(i) Wisst Ihr, wer für die Funktionsfähigkeit des Smart Meters verantwortlich ist? Ich oder der Netzbetreiber? Wisst Ihr, wo das geregelt ist?
(ii) An wen könnte ich mich noch wenden, wenn der Netzbetreiber weiterhin nicht reagiert?
(iii) Wer trägt die Kosten evtl. notwendig Umbaumaßnahmen?

Hello! I need to take an IELTS exam, but since I’m from Ukraine IELTS online is the only option. Also, since I’m in Ukraine, we’ve got quite unpredictable blackouts: if everything goes well, they are announced a day in advance. Right now they might happen once a day for 2-4 hours. This means I cant be sure I’ll have WiFi at home when booking, and I guess (know :)) going to a coworking or god forbid a cafe is not an option if it happens. Mobile data is not an option too I see.
I guess there is nothing I can do here, just gamble and hope its going to go well. Very worried since thats a significant amount of money to waste :( Is there kind of advice for me? I assume i can’t reschedule it after booking :( anyone had similar experiences?
Just wanted to share since im very worried.

A friend of my mother recently came to visit us from Japan and gave me her iPhone 8. It is network locked to au and you cannot get a working au sim in India. I was wondering if I could get my network lock removed by jailbreaking my phone and then using a software like easeus mobile or whatever it's called. I looked around and people said I won't get to keep my passcode active if I jailbreak it. Is temporarily jailbreaking to remove the network lock viable? Or will I only be able to use the phone without the lock while it is jailbroken? If there is no other way, I will have to go through the au sim unlocking process which is a pain.
