So I’m currently sitting in the ER waiting to be seen because I haven’t slept in four days due to extreme facial flushing, burning and swelling that is so intense and brutally painful that I can’t function. I went off 20 mg Accutane cold turkey 5 days ago after a little under 2.5 months because of this side effect and it’s absolutely ruined my life. It hasn’t gotten any better so far, it continues to escalate and get worse with each day and it’s the worst it’s ever been since quitting Accutane. I actually had to step down from my very public facing job due to how horrific this all is and I’m devastated. I could cover my acne, but I can’t even begin to conceal this permanent insane stinging burning redness which is significantly worse on one cheek than the other. It started localized only to the apples of my cheeks and now it’s my entire head, ears and neck with the exception of my forehead. I have spent the past 2 weeks crying every single day due to being so exhausted but unable to sleep because I’m constantly in agony.
This sucks so fucking much. I traded stubborn mild acne for whatever this is and now I’m in the hospital. It’s ruined my life socially, has wreaked havoc on my already unstable mental health, destroyed my physical health and the pain is so indescribable. Just this constant throbbing and burning and pins and needles sensation all over my entire head. In my opinion, Accutane was 100% not worth it and if I had known I would have had such an adverse reaction I never would have taken it again. I just was desperate, especially after getting fungal acne (in addition to my regular hormonal acne) for the first time in my life in May that hasn’t responded to any treatment.
Three weeks ago my dermatologist tried to tell me this was normal (before it got so severe). Now I absolutely cannot believe this is my life. I’ve been so depressed about this side effect I’ve had to call the 988 hotline twice in the past month and as I’ve mentioned cannot even work anymore because my job is blasting dry space heaters that make my current condition a million times worse.
I’m not sure how common this side effect is, but I feel like people need to be made aware of it because it is truly devastating to deal with this after never having encountered any kind of flushing in my entire life leading up to this, even on my first course of Accutane.
I’m not sure what my next steps are. My cystic acne has started to return since stopping the medication but the flushing and redness (that is currently so red it’s purple) is going nowhere. I’m terrified that I’ve destroyed my skin for life. If I can’t find some sort of medication to manage this flushing and get my life back, I will completely fall apart and I am barely keeping it together right now.

I have a drywall that is 110 inches by 100.
I’m in the middle of designing my system but I’m pretty worry about the weight load. This dry wall separates living room from bedroom. I’m still checking with landlord if the drywall it’s reinforced or not, but it’s like 10 inches depth.
So, would a semi-wall make more sense in this case? If I buy a semi wall, can I move to fully wall mounted in the future or it’s a completely different system?
Any experience here?

Because honestly I don't mind that I have Tourettes Syndrome. If it was just the illness, I coped for 27 years before I even knew what was happening and coped just fine and still managed to have a normal life.
But thinking back it's also been the reason every relationship I've ever had has failed due to partners not understanding what was going on, and neither did I. Then lost my entire family just because they didn't understand mental illness and thought it meant I was just some violent psychopath who heard voices when I told them after I found out.
Then getting beating and punished into being a normal child comes to mind because they didn't understand how to help mental illness and I did not act like a normal kid or do well in school.
I didn't mind losing my family because they were actually the violent psychopaths. But it hurt all the same.
And I just think of how frustrating it is to be the nicest person ever who wants to do absolutely nothing but help and love people...
But because I can be an abrasive asshole by accident because I can't always help what I say, and have the social abilities of a freight train because I basically have no filter, and can't help but argue and say horrible things back if someone says them to me, many people never realize that about me.
Being called violent when I never hurt a single person who didn't hit me first was probably the worst part just because I had a mental illness.
And I'm sure I am not the only one whose had that struggle here.
And I'm just crying too much at 5 AM thinking about it so I should stop.
