Hallo in die Runde,
meine Mutter (ca. 60 Jahre) leidet seit mindestens 10 Jahren an Schmerzen, zu der sie bisher keine finale Diagnose erhalten hat. Seit den letzten zwei Jahren nehmen die Schmerzen immer schneller zu. Inzwischen ist es soweit, dass sie teilweise nur noch auf Knien die Treppe im Haus bewältigen kann und sehr in ihrer Reichweite und sozialen Interaktion eingeschränkt ist. Beispielsweise muss sie vor jeder zu bewältigenden Distanz IBU800 nehmen und leidet trotzdem sehr.
Die bisherigen Diagnosen reichten von Rheuma über Arthrose. Nach mehreren Jahren ist der Rheuma-Arzt der Überzeugung, dass es kein Rheuma ist.
Sie wohnt in einer strukturschwachen Gegend und muss immer mindestens 30-60 Minuten Auto fahren um zu einem Facharzt zu kommen. Termine gibt es natürlich eher vierteljährlich bis halbjährlich. Krankgeschrieben wird sie kaum. Hausarztwechsel ist wegen der Lage nicht wirklich möglich.
Sie fühlt sich so hilflos, dass sie mir gegenüber geäußert hat, dass sie überlegt lieber zu sterben.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit einer engmaschigeren Diagnose und Behandlung, oder irgendwelche Ansprechpartner für solche Fälle? Versicherung ist die AOK. Falls es dort Ansprechpartner gibt, welche Stelle und kann ich mich auch als Sohn für sie stellvertretend melden?
Wichtig: Sie ist mMn definitiv depressiv und steht sich deswegen oft auch selbst im Weg.
Ich bin über jeden Hinweis und jede Hilfe dankbar.

My therapist long time ago recommended me to put my feelings on paper since I really don't like to vent with people, that eventually transformed into short stories and some of them have been published in magazines and literature contests.
Now I'm writing a short story about how I feel the need to put my feelings aside and just comply without complaining every single thing people around ask me to do because every time I express how I feel they find a way to make me feel I'm in the wrong, and I have talked about this with my wife.
So I have the text, but before I send it to an editor (which is not a guarantee it'll be published) I want my wife to read it, because it talks about my problems in marriage and my perspective, when I talk with her about it I always stumble on my words and start to cry, I don't feel like I have ever exposed my perspective clearly. The problem is that that text talks about my emotional and sexual issues of the relationship and, even though the names are obviously not real, some people that know us could connect the dots and then personal life revealed to everyone.
Even if she doesn't have a problem now who knows if the text actually turns to be a stepping stone to something bigger and then gets more exposure.
She's not the main focus of the story, but it is a large one, I do love her but lately there has been so much negativity and I no longer feel happy when she comes back from work. She has always supported me when I write and I even have a fantasy novel that I wrote only for her since we were teenagers, I'm afraid that if she reads what I wrote she would start to dislike me and everything I write.

I am a recent addition to a board in a townhouse community in NJ (136 units). Neighbor A went to do a wellness check on neighbor B next door. Neighbor B was passed out and the police came and took her to the hospital (she is ok). Neighbor B emailed the association to say she had suspicions she was a hoarder and sent us pics. There is garbage everywhere, sink full of dirty dishes. Extension cords plugged in all over. What can we do? Would this most likely be stated in the by-laws, do we need to talk to our attorney for advice? Looking through some of the other commentary on here around hoarders it seems like a bit of a grey area since it is an owner occupied unit, but you're also connected to other units on each side so you are putting them at risk

2024.11.26 13:40 Hellinfernel Ok, had my first hours on Gleba, need some help with how to continue.
Ok, so this planet in general feels very, very different compared to the other planets, but not in a bad way. Currently, i am just a bit confused with all the new materials. On the other planets, the most new stuff was relatively easy to figure out, once you understood how to create the core materials like iron and copper, you didn't struggle much anymore. However, here are entirely new materials to figure out and in general I am a bit hesitant to build a bigger factory simply because I have no idea what I have to expect aside from my stuff going to dirt. Now I am supposed to build something called a "Biochamber", and for that I need some spooky eggs where Ii have no idea where to get them. Also, so far I didn't even set up a smeltery because unfortunately I took foundries instead of the normal furnaces, and they need another special material I only get on vulcanus.
P.S: Search a stone patch and use it to create landfill, massively important on this planet where water seems to be everywhere.
