As the title says, I'm developing a semantic model for sales reporting and .
Currently, my fact table has a date column, country_code, product_code used in relationships with dimensions; some true/false flags that I couldn't fit in any dimension table and columns with the sales amount in 5 different units of measure (euro_value, dollar_value, units_value, kilogram_value...).
My sales measure is something like 

Sales UoM = var uomSelected= SELECTEDVALUE('Dim Unit of Measure'[Unit of Measure]) var valSelected =Switch( uomSelected, "EUR", sum('Brand Fact'[euro_value]), "Units", sum('Brand Fact'[units_value]), ...... ) return valSelected
This 'Dim Unit of Measure' is a table I created manually inserting the values directly in PBI.
It works fine, performance is more than acceptable and it just works, but I was wondering if the semantic model could be improved by pivoting all [whatever_value] columns into a single [sales_amount] column, with one row per unit of measure and an extra column with the name of the unit of measure. The idea is to do this in my SQL Query or directly in the view definitio that feeds this model.
The fact table currently has 200k rows so doing this would multiply the number of rows by 5, resulting in around 1M rows.
What do you think? I would love to hear about similar experiences you had, ways to actually benchmark the performance...

So recently I've been looking to get an Aquaracer as I've always liked them and they fit what I would like in a nicer dive watch. I was at first thinking of just getting the Ti solargraph, but had started talking myself into the Aquaracer Pro 300 Ti from the prior gen. I'd even gone so far to try it on several times in the local boutique and was planning to buy it as a Christmas present to myself.
Then today I notice that its no longer listed on the Tag site, and going to the URL directly for the watch has it listed as discontinued.
