So I had my orchi canceled today as they found some strange indications around my lungs on my CT. I have had an inflammatory disease called sarcoidosis diagnosed for a few years and have always had little nodules from this in this area. I currently have a small 6.7mm x 4mm lesion in my left testicle. How screwed am I if it's spread to my lungs? They think it could just be my sarcoidosis and are meeting tomorrow but it could also be a secondary cancer. I'm thinking so doom and gloom and I'm just thinking this is it for me. Has anyone got any advice? My anxiety is through the roof. I also have slightly low serum iron and transferrin.

I am currently actively looking for remote roles. I'm going through some interviews too. I have a lot of experience but looking to step back and do something more entry-mid level. I have really good days where I feel confident and very motivated to get back working. Then I have other days where I have crippling fatigue, extremely low energy and I think I would struggle in a work environment.
Do I just need to push on through it and get back working anyway? My pain is managed, my uveitis is managed but the general days of feeling run down and unwell still happen. I'm on bi-weekly humira.
What does everyone else do in this situation?

I’ve been working on setting up VLAN isolation on my Meraki network, and I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock. Here’s the situation:
I have a VLAN (VLAN 230) dedicated to client instruments that shouldn’t have internet access, but I still need to allow TeamViewer traffic so I can remote into the devices for support. I’ve been experimenting with Meraki’s ACLs, and while the basic blocking works, it’s the finer details that are tripping me up.
What I’ve Done So Far:
- VLAN Configuration:
Gateway/Interface IP: 10.225.230.1
- Goals:
Allow only TeamViewer traffic (TCP 5938, TCP/UDP 443, and optional UDP 3478–3480).
- Current ACL Setup:
Removed the broad deny rule and tested more specific deny rules for public IP ranges like 0.0.0.0/8 and Google DNS 8.8.8.8/32. This works better but still feels overly complex.
- Testing Results:
Adding the deny any any rule blocks all traffic, including TeamViewer, even when allow rules are in place.
- Routing:
Internal routing between VLANs is blocked as intended.
The Problem:
The main issue seems to be with how Meraki ACLs process rules. Even though allow rules for TeamViewer are placed above the deny rules, the deny any any rule appears to override them entirely. I want to avoid this without overcomplicating the setup.
What I Need Help With:
- Is there a better way to block internet access while allowing specific traffic like TeamViewer?
- Should I rethink the ACL structure entirely or stick with selective deny rules for specific public IP ranges?
- Any Meraki-specific tips for troubleshooting ACL behavior?
Meraki Dashboard shows the ACLs are applied correctly.
Testing is done remotely via VPN, so my remote connection is also a factor.
The client device in VLAN 230 gets a valid IP and works fine

I recently bought Insta Doodle to make a whiteboard explanation video for a sales page that I was creating for a client. I'd normally outsource those videos from Fiverr but Insta Doodle is essentially the same price, so the cost is just the time investment, which is minimal. It sort of saves time because you can build exactly what you have in mind, whereas on Fiverr you have to explain what you want and then review the deliveries and get revisions which is time consuming. Anyway, I think using Insta Doodle to offer whiteboard videos on websites like Fiverr, Freelancer and Upwork would be an easy business idea to implement. The software's easy to use, there's basically no learning curve as it's self-explanatory so anyone can implement this idea. You could also sell on your own website at a steeper price and cold email businesses + advertise in small business Facebook groups.
