I am thinking of watching the new movie Saturday night for the first time and then immediately following it with watching the entire first show. Has anyone done that yet? Is there some interesting synergy there?

2024.11.26 15:36 lo_fi_priest First 10K. An amazing feeling

I’ve been running more regularly over the past year and a half. I really stepped things up in the past six weeks so that I could address lower back pain. A wonderful side effect is that I’ve been able to increase mileage with the cooler weather! This was by far my longest run with no walk breaks. A great feeling. And no lower back pain!

Bridging the Gap: Why Lumé Coin Redefines Everyday Digital Currency The Unrealized Vision of Bitcoin When Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System white paper in 2008, the goal was clear: to create a decentralized digital currency that could facilitate everyday transactions without relying on a centralized authority. Bitcoin was designed to serve as an alternative to traditional fiat currency, enabling people to pay for goods and services directly and securely.
However, despite its success as a store of value and speculative asset, Bitcoin has fallen short of its original purpose—becoming a widely adopted medium for day-to-day payments. Several key challenges have hindered Bitcoin's usability for routine transactions:

  1. Volatility: Bitcoin's price fluctuations make it impractical for everyday purchases. For example, the value of 1 BTC might drop significantly within hours, creating uncertainty for both merchants and consumers.
  2. Scalability Issues: Bitcoin's network is limited to processing around 7 transactions per second (TPS), compared to Visa's capability of processing over 24,000 TPS. This congestion leads to higher transaction fees and slower confirmation times, making it inefficient for small, everyday transactions like buying groceries or paying for gas.
  3. Limited Merchant Adoption: While some businesses accept Bitcoin, adoption is sparse. The lack of standardized payment infrastructure has restricted Bitcoin's use for everyday expenses such as utility bills or in-store purchases.
Lessons from e-Gold and Hashcash Before Bitcoin, digital currencies like e-Gold and concepts like Hashcash attempted to create systems for decentralized transactions.
These systems failed to achieve widespread adoption due to centralized control (e-Gold) or lack of scalability and practical use cases (Hashcash). Satoshi’s Bitcoin overcame these limitations by decentralizing control, yet the scalability and volatility issues remain unresolved.
How Lumé Coin Revolutionizes Everyday Digital Payments Lumé Coin builds upon the lessons of these earlier systems and Bitcoin's shortcomings to create a cryptocurrency tailored for practical, everyday use. Here’s how:
  1. Stable Value with Gradual Growth: Unlike Bitcoin, Lumé Coin employs a built-in stabilization mechanism tied to a reserve system and advanced algorithms that prevent extreme volatility. This stability allows consumers and businesses to rely on Lumé Coin for payments without fear of rapid devaluation or inflation.
  2. Scalable Blockchain Infrastructure: Using advanced blockchain technologies, Lumé Coin supports a high transaction throughput (TPS), comparable to or exceeding traditional payment systems like Visa. This ensures transactions are fast and affordable, even during high network demand.
  3. Utility-Driven Design: Lumé Coin is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing payment infrastructures. Its partnerships with merchants, utility providers, and payment platforms enable users to pay for electricity bills, groceries, fuel, and more with ease.
  4. Smart Contract Integration for Recurring Payments: Lumé Coin introduces smart contracts for recurring payments, allowing users to automate monthly bills, such as rent, subscriptions, or utilities, directly from their wallets.
  5. Incentives for Adoption: Lumé Coin incentivizes merchant adoption through lower transaction fees compared to credit cards and rewards programs for consumers, encouraging widespread usage.
  6. Energy Efficiency: Lumé Coin uses a hybrid consensus model that significantly reduces energy consumption compared to Bitcoin’s proof-of-work system, addressing environmental concerns and making it more sustainable for long-term adoption.
  7. Human-AI Collaboration: Lumé Coin incorporates advanced AI systems to analyze market dynamics, detect fraud, and optimize transaction efficiency, representing the future of human-AI collaboration in digital currency management.
Why Lumé Coin Is the Next Step Bitcoin’s legacy as a pioneer in digital currency is undeniable, but it is primarily regarded as a store of value—a digital gold rather than a day-to-day currency. Lumé Coin bridges this gap by combining stability, scalability, and real-world usability into a single ecosystem.
By addressing the volatility, scalability, and adoption issues that Bitcoin and its predecessors have faced, Lumé Coin fulfills Satoshi’s original vision: a truly decentralized, universally accepted digital currency for the modern economy.
Lumé Coin isn’t just a cryptocurrency; it’s the next evolution of money—designed for a future where digital currencies are as intuitive and reliable as cash or credit cards today.

2024.11.26 15:36 ShoddyEnthusiasm3653 Will classic NH-C14 work with AMD itx

Building in nr200p with ASRock b650i lightning. Wondering if I can just grab the am4/am5 mounting kit on Amazon and be on my way. I will be using a 65w 7600x3d, so if I am limited by single fan, that is fine. I can also replace with a a12x25 or a12x15 if needed with such low tdp (uh, right?).

2024.11.26 15:36 Icy-Excuse6006 Keep olds 403 or swap

My 79 TA is having some topside engine problems and isn’t firing on all cylinders. Conclusion was redo the top with a kit or swap it for something like a 5.3. My end goal is to just have the car road worthy and reliable while staying in some what of a budget. Thoughts/advice?

2024.11.26 15:36 Jaynobili1019 Nic “My neck & My back” Claxton

This is my 1st post. Appreciate all the vibes in here 🙌
So Boom I really like Clax, on my team he even has a nickname. However I recently read that he had a epidural in his back this summer ?! And I guess he has a lingering back issue. I read this a few days ago but I saw he was slated to play last night so I was pleasantly surprise because I was thinking of moving off him after hearing this. But I see he was a late game scratch due to BACK soreness. Is Clax Cooked ???
Thanks for all the posts , love the community
