2024.11.26 15:30 madnessfades Will my Companion be notified when added to a flight?
I just earned my first Companion Pass for 2025. My mom is likely retiring next year, and I would like to take her on a surprise trip to celebrate (as in, she knows we are going somewhere, but won't know where until we get to the airport) (and I posted a similar question about this in the past, and some advised me against doing this. My mind is made up. My mom will like this. Please don't try to talk me out of it. Thank you).
If I add her as my companion, I see there is a field for email address and phone number. When I add her to my flight, will she get an email or text or some other notification alerting her of our plans and reunion the surprise? If so, could I just use a throwaway email address when adding her as my companion (like my work email)?

im a new jeweler and i just received my wax casting kit. i have a butane torch that can reach up to 1300°C. i have tried melting silver, but it doesn’t do the job fully. im wondering whether this torch is enough (maybe its a skill issue from my part) or whether i need a different torch for melting metal. if yes, i’m wondering if there are torches for melting that wouldn’t need the big gas/oxygen tanks

 | I have a 2019 black edition Ridgeline with a sunroof. On the drivers side for the last month I’ve heard something rolling around above my head when driving and finally was able to pull the headliner down just enough to grab the screw in the picture. Should I be concerned? Can anyone ID where it is supposed to go? Maybe any help knowing how to replace it if needed?
