Coinbase is not letting me withdraw cash to my VISA debit card. I checked online and it says this is a valid payment method for instant withdrawal, although coinbase itself says "can't withdraw with this payment method" so what's the issue? My account is pretty new, but I've done all the identity verification steps so that shouldn't be a factor.
Anybody else gave this problem? What can I do?

 | I have celiac disease which means I have to eat gluten-free PLUS I can't have ny favorite mac & cheese anymore - El Pollo Loco. The hunt continues because while the viral Tini Younger mac & cheese recipe has a great cheese pull, there weren't enough seasonings to taste when mixed into 2.5 lbs of cheese + 1 lb of pasta. As a Celiac, I didn't want to miss out on trying this recipe, so I subbed gluten-free pasta and gluten-free flour. I used La Fusilleria di Gragnano's gluten-free fidanzati pasta because I can't find gluten-free cavatappi. 👉 I added Tabasco's scorpion sauce on top because the seasonings were insufficient for 2.5 lbs of cheese. 🧀 Ingredients: - 1 pound mozzarella cheese - 1 pound Colby Jack cheese - 8 ounces sharp cheddar - 1 pound cavatappi pasta (I used gluten-free fidanzati) - 1 teaspoon garlic powder - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon coarse salt - ½ teaspoon black pepper, ground - 3 tablespoons salted butter - 3 tablespoons AP flour (I used Bob's Red Mill gluten-free flour) - 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk - 2 cups heavy cream - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard - fresh chopped parsley for garnish Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish 2. Cook cavatappi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 3. Combine all 3 shredded cheeses in a bowl and divide half into another bowl. Set aside 4. Combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Divide in half and set aside. 5. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add half of the season mixture and flour. Stir until the mixture becomes paste-like, about 3-5 minutes. Add evaporated milk and whisk until thick. Add heavy cream and the rest of the seasoning mixture and mix until combined. Whisk in Dijon mustard until thick. Slowly add in half the cheese, allowing it to melt before adding more. 6. Stir in cavatappi until coated with cheese sauce. 7. Add a layer of cavatappi and then a layer of shredded cheese to prepared baking dish. Repeat layers 8. Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 25-30 min. 9. Not too long ago I had found out from my 13 yr old son that my mentally handicapped brother had been molesting him since he was little. I had confronted my mother about it since she takes care of him. According to her, she caught them twice and she believes that my son is the one who molested my 36 yr old brother. I believe my son and I filed a police report. When my mom found out she told me I was dead to her. Nothing really came of the investigation due to lack of physical evidence and it's difficult to understand what my brother says when he talks. After not speaking to her for almost a month when I intiatially found out, her and I had started speaking again until last week. She still does not believe my son is telling the truth and that my son was the molester apparently. She's my mom and I do love her, but I am not sure I want her in my life any longer. Is this wrong of me to block her out of my life because she doesn't believe my son? I lost all of her family due to this as well because no one on that side believes my brother would do something like that. He has seen many CPS workers, detectives, and people who specialize in child abuse and they all believe him. What would you do?

Sunsets seems to me to be the simplest argument to show that the flat model does not work.
A flat-earther could call another and say "I can see the sun going under the Earth" and the other would tell him “weird, it’s over my head”.
I know that to explain time zones, flat-earthe say that the sun is a moving flashlight but it doesn't work at all for a sunset, you can literally see the sun (which is the same size as usual) cut in two by the horizon, aka under the earth for a flat-earther so night for everyone at the same time .
So when someone claims the earth is flat why can't we just say "your stupid theory can't even explain sunsets" and move on ?

2024.11.26 16:13 thefold25 Deploying a plain, no JS framework website, how?
I've got a folder containing index.html and web.config files, then a couple of subfolders which contain any required stylesheets and JavaScript.
For info, the folder was obtained by downloading from FlipHTML5, where we have converted a PDF into a flipbook format.
I want to deploy this folder as a webapp into Azure so I get the benefit of people needing to have an Entra account to be able to access it, but I just can't seem to get it to work.
First, I tried deploying a Linux Web App running .NET 6, hooked it up to the repository for auto-build/deployment, but that fails as it's expected a .NET solution or package.
Next, I tried changing it to a NodeJS stack, but it failed because package.json was missing, so I added a blank one, but it still failed.
Re-thinking a bit I tried to deploy it as a Static Web App with both the custom and HTML presets. The build still fails with this in the logs
Error: Could not find either 'build' or 'build:azure' node under 'scripts' in package.json. Could not find value for custom run build command using the environment variable key 'RUN_BUILD_COMMAND'.Could not find tools for building monorepos, no 'lerna.json' or 'lage.config.js' files found.

Oryx could not find a 'build' or 'build:azure' script in the package configuration. Please add one of these commands to your package configuration file (i.e. package.json). Alternatively, you can add the app_build_command to the build/deploy section of your workflow file. For example, app_build_command: 'npm run docs:build'
All I want to do is for it to copy the contents of the repository over and host it up. I don't need any kind of build process.
Surely this should be possible without making things too complicated?

Israel launched Operation Northern Arrows on September 23. The ground forces crossed the border on October 1. Fighting has mostly occurred near the border. The goal of the operation was stated to include returning 60,000 evacuated Israelis to the border. However, there were likely other goals. One goal was to force Hezbollah to cut its connection to Hamas in Gaza. Hezbollah joined the war on October 8, 2023, at the behest of Iran. Iran sees Hezbollah and Hamas as pawns. It empowered and armed these groups over the last decades. Once they were powerful enough, it tried to push them into an existential war with Israel. October 7 was the first shot in a longer Iranian war on Israel that moved Iran from a cold war on Israel to a hot war. It moved the Houthis and militias in Iraq and Syria into position to attack Israel. Defeating Hezbollah in Lebanon, or at least weakening it, can mean forcing it to stop attacking Israel. This cuts it off from Hamas temporarily. However, Hezbollah has said that a new equation exists after October 7 in which it assumed a “right” to attack Israel. The story regarding Hezbollah and Hamas now looks increasingly like the proverb about a poor man living in the shtetl and the rabbi and the goat. This story, which is repeated in various forms, includes a poor man who lives with his kids and wife in a small house. It’s so small that he is miserable and goes to the local rabbi for advice. The rabbi suggests he bring a goat into the house. The man brings in a goat and now the house is even more crowded with the goat and his kids and wife. He goes back to the rabbi to complain. The rabbi suggests removing the goat. Now the house feels larger. Nothing has changed for the man, but removing the goat seems to help. Israel has removed the “goat” by removing Hezbollah threats directly along the border and perhaps keeping Hezbollah from tying the northern front to Gaza. However, this merely gets Israel back to October 6, 2023. It doesn’t bring the clock back to 2006 or other times when Hezbollah had ten percent of the rockets it had on October 6, 2023. Hezbollah became far too strong. Hezbollah made itself into a monster that could dictate strategy to Israel. Weakening Hezbollah is good. But victory does not mean resetting things to square one. Victory means going further.
