REST defines 6 architectural constraints which make any web service - a truly RESTful API i.e. Uniform interface, Client–server, Stateless, Cacheable, Layered system, Code on demand (optional). REST uses nouns to represent resources, and HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.) are then used to perform actions on those resources, effectively acting as verbs. If we use verbs in the URI, we are most probably creating an RPC-style method call having a JSON or XML request/response format. REST API design best practices guide us in building APIs that are scalable, efficient, secure, and easy to use. Following these practices will ensure that your API can meet consumers’ evolving demands and integrate seamlessly with other systems. In simpler words, REST defines a consistent and uniform interface for interactions between clients and servers. For example, the HTTP-based REST APIs make use of the standard HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.) and the URIs (Uniform Resource Identifiers) to identify resources. 1.2. Client-Server Follow these steps to design a REST API - Identify the Object Model, Create Resource URIs, Determine Representations, and Assign HTTP Methods. A REST API responds with the 201 status code whenever a resource is created inside a collection. There may also be times when a new resource is created as a result of some controller action, in which case 201 would also be an appropriate response. REST guidelines suggest using a specific HTTP method on a particular type of call made to the server i.e. GET, POST, PUT or DELETE. HATEOAS (Hypermedia as the Engine of Application State) is a constraint of the REST application architecture which uses hypertext in API response. In the context of REST APIs, rate limiting refers to controlling the number of requests a client can make to an API within a specified period. If the API request count exceeds the threshold defined by the rate limiter, all the excess calls are blocked. Understanding the distinctions between HTTP PUT and POST and their respective use cases is pivotal to creating well-designed REST APIs. By following the suggestions discussed above, we can design robust APIs that are easy to deliver and maintain.

Did agree to try it, but am still extremely skeptical. No other antidepressant has helped with or addressed the symptoms I need to address, because I'm not treating depression. I'm very frustrated and don't feel optimistic.

Our neighbors have been waking us up in the morning screaming, slamming doors, throwing furniture outside - you name it. It’s also strange, but they have a 15-16 year old son who wears the same exact outfit, every single day. I’ve never seen him wear anything other than the same outfit.
Last night, the son was left outside after what sounded like a verbal altercation. I kept an eye on the son for a few minutes, then noticed he was shaking and shivering (it’s cold outside here), and he was knocking on the door to try to get in the house. Then, he slid open the window and was screaming inside for them to unlock the door (he couldn’t climb up). Moments after this, someone from inside the house slammed the window shut. Immediately after this, I called the non-emergency line for a welfare check. (Side note, we’ve only lived here for a month and a half, so we don’t really know anyone in our neighborhood well).
The cops came immediately (thank goodness), but I heard the cop talking to the neighbor, and the cop said their son is nonverbal. I’ve noticed the son acting strange, so it all adds up. My heart broke when he said that - that they locked their non verbal son out of the house. I overheard some other things, like the mom saying the son is aggressive and that’s why she locked him out. I feel bad for her too, because she may not be getting the help she deserves… but the whole household is just off.
The cops came back today and talked to them, and I haven’t seen the son since early this morning. Why would the cops come back? They stayed for 20ish minutes and then left again (but this time there was 4 of them vs 2 last night). Just curious on the process, and hoping I did the right thing.

I don't know if I am looking for guidance or reassurance. Some days I feel like my puppy must get abducted by aliens and they give me a tiny gremlin that just looks like my dog. Then the next day they bring me back my sweet 10 week old puppy.
But ya'll what the heck? Yesterday he was learned multiple new tricks, didn't have a single accident and played quietly in his pen when I needed to get things done. Today, he has multiple accidents in the house before 11am ( he is refusing to pee outside, he would rather play) he is crying in his pen, biting and just being plain crazy. But chances are tomorrow, he will go right back to being a sweet lil puppy again. Is it normal for them to flip flop like this? Just a total sour patch kid. I never know if I am gonna wake up to something sweet or something mean and spicy. Lol
