I have been stuck in Sea of Rust for the last 3 months because I get ~20 VP for every victory and -40 VP for every loss. No matter what I do, I cannot move forward. Every step forward is immediately followed by two steps back.
I have tried every deck, every combination of cards, every prime ability, etc. And I HAVE NEVER LEFT SEA OF RUST!
The closest I got was 3 days ago. 1980.
I haven’t played again until today, and I immediately dropped back to 1,600 from 8 matches that I lost because my opponent can apparently summon 3 Megatrons at once and has sixteen different cards in their deck at once.
I can handle a loss. I occasionally play Fortnite and won’t smash my controller if I get eliminated by the storm, a more skilled player, or from some random nonsense.
I’m about to uninstall this game because even when I have THE EXACT SAME DECK, my opponent wins. If I have the meta deck, my opponent wins. I can flood the field with units, and my opponent wins. I can play defensively, and my opponent wins.
This is genuinely the first time I have contemplated smashing my phone over a game.

This is my no. 1 issue. I would say these last six months it hasn't gotten worse but if I look 1 year, 2 years, 3 years back etc I'm definitely worsening. I hope it's stopped, but I can't be sure.
Why do I have it and how do I stop it? It seems like the only things helping are:
_sleeping. Like, a lot. 10+ hours. But after 7-8 hours, I'm not sleepy anymore so it's not really viable. Also, if one day I manage somehow to sleep 10 hours, I definitely feel better than usual but I pay for it on the following night because I then have trouble falling asleep. Sleeping 10 hours for me is a ticket for sleeping 5 hours on the next night
_avoiding screens and sunlight like the plague, wearing hats, sunglasses etc
_ doing nothing with my eyes until noon, and again doing nothing after 8-9pm. Mentally speaking, it's really taxing. The only thing I can do is long walks at night or listening to podcasts.
I'm really worried because I'm young, my eyes are deteriorating fast, I want to stop this. At first I thought it was something about my lifestyle, but nothing I do changes anything except those 3 things. Could this be a neurological issue? I feel like light simply is 5 times as strong as it should be.

Joined a small consultancy in the last month (circa 700 consultants) and wondering what’s life like in the big4 compared to a smaller place? I’m in strategy and transformation and meant to be doing BA work (I doubt anything important as a fresh grad).
I plan to leave as soon as possible because I’m only in consulting for exit opportunities but would like a few years in the big 4 possibly for a slightly higher salary before I burn out. (I’m U.K. for context) just wanna know how it compares and if it’s worth the late nights I’ve heard it entails.
