Howdy, I’ve found myself in a pickle. I love where I live and my friends and community and activities. I also love my partner, he’s a wonderful human being who has treated me well the past few years (not princess treatment, mind you, but definitely holds his own and cares for me). He’s made the decision to move away from where we live currently and wants me to move with him. The new place only caters to about half of what matters to me (aka why I love where I currently live) and I don’t know anyone there. I honestly don’t know if I should move with him or not and would love to hear some stories of how others have made these kinds of decisions. Some extra factors: - I can afford to live in either city on my own income - My one main hobby is popular in both cities. - I work remotely so my job is not a problem. - We own our home jointly that we currently live in, but it’s been quickly out grown and the new city would allow more space. - I’m also queer, and there’s some queer community in the new city but I worry it would be much smalleharder to find. - Where I live now is the longest I’ve lived anywhere in the past 20 years, and I finally felt at home. What would you do/what am I missing in thinking this through?

I’m new here! I have a transmission that I am mounting to an engine cradle. There are mounting holes in both, and mounts are available in online stores for too expensive.
If I were to fabricate my own mounts, what steps should I take? I was thinking of holding the transmission in place and using cardboard to simulate a mount, then taking measurements based on that.
But beyond this, I’m unsure. Where do I get sheet metal even? What tools should I have to shape it? I don’t even weld. If I were to design a blueprint for a fabricator, would that also be very expensive? ($150-$200 per mount)
If I knew the mounts from the online stores always worked I would just pay for them. But they don’t. If I were to start welding..what rig should I get? So so much going on right now.

I (16F) have an autistic brother (10M) who functions on a toddler level. we've had many struggles and we do all we can for him but over the past year he has grown a habbit of grabbing boobs, I know he dosent fully understand but he always talks to himself saying "That's inappropriate" after or before doing it, he knows to do it to women and try to do it while my dad can't see but he has seen it. ive brought this up with both my dad and stepmom and they say the same thing as they do for all if his concerns. either "we'll work on it "or "we'll bring that up with his therapist" but noting ever changes it's been a year of this and I don't know what to do i don't wanna be Grabbed like that by my brother but he just dosent ever listen and today i had to restrain him from doing it to my grandmother. I need any type of help on getting him to stop or getting my parents to listen.
