I have a partner I love more than anything. I can imagine spending the rest of my life with them. They are magnificent and we truly click like no one else I’ve ever met. The only issue is that they probably want to live in NYC forever, and I would rather move west… so my question is. What the heck do I do? I love NYC. I could spend a long time here for sure. But forever? … I don’t know. I would do anything to stay with my partner, including stay here, if it means we spend the rest of our days together, but… part of me is aching for a future where I’m not stuck in a big city crammed into a tiny apartment… I’ve told them about this and they know. But they love it here and don’t ever want to leave. I could live bicoastal? Has anyone else had to make a decision like this? Tell me what you did. What do you think you would do?

2024.11.26 17:23 neel1011 Look guys I get it. It’s disrespectful to call it a mixtape. I think this is a real album not a mixtape, however I don’t think it’s delirious to both appreciate this work and anticipate a new album coming out given all the signs we’ve gotten.
I just saw a post with 300+ upvotes about how it’s disrespecting west coast music. I can assure you that most foreign Kendrick fans are actually quite open to new sounds. I know this cause I’m a Kendrick fan from Zambia. The reason why TPAB sat so well globally was cause of the jazz influence, which was already foreign outside of America. Most people actually just want Kendrick to always come back with new sounds which he did this time and did it masterfully. But the fact remains that this project was shorter, seemed to want to get some things out the way, and has a bunch of cryptic messages hinting towards not being done yet. Let’s not brush over the title track GNX on the album also being a bit of a fun loose track. And if you’re gonna come at me for saying that he literally goes “like wowwwwwwwwwwww,” sarcastically.

2024.11.26 17:23 FlashCardManiac How to use the map?
Don't know if it's considered cheating, but the map found online seems like the map that should be in game. With every new resource discovered, the resource with purity rating should be listed and togglable. And even more, there's no mods to add this ability. BUT, you can slowly and tediously add each resource you discover manually if you want. After maybe 200hrs of play (mountains of screwing around here), this has been the only thing I've not liked. Has the Satisfactory community already voted on this in some way and I'm the odd man out?

2024.11.26 17:23 SufficientLuck8784 everyone around me is dying and i can’t stop it
more of a cry into the void than anything else. i made a post on this subreddit before, a few months ago and then in september. i’m not sure if anyone remembers or if the post is still up but i’d like to thank all that gave me advice and well wishes.
i had four cousins die last winter. my uncle died in september. since then, my grandmother passed a week before my birthday in october and my other uncle passed just this past sunday night. like bloody dominoes, i haven’t had a month of peace yet.
i don’t know how much more i can take. i feel numb. i haven’t cried over my uncle yet. it’s just grief on grief on grief, i feel like time is still yet everything is coming at me at once. i feel suspended. i don’t know how to get a grip on my bearings. i’m so close to the end of the semester but i don’t know how to approach my final projects. i have over 25% left of grading in all my classes and i’m keeping my 4.0 for grad school.
I don’t know what to do at this point. should i talk to my advisor? my supervisor? at this point, they’ll probably think i’m joking about it all. i usually find comfort in my research and work but the concept of it all being graded takes that from me. i don’t want to stop, i’m so close. but i’m so tired.
i wish i can hug my grandma again.
