Hi all, I just moved to the US with my wife a few months ago. I just got an opportunity in NewJersey and will be moving in 2 months from North Carolina. I don’t have much experience in the used car market here in the US. So my question to you all is, should I buy a car in NC and drive it up there or just buy when I’m in Jersey? Note that I can make due without a car for the next 2 months and getting to Jersey without a car is a non issue. I just know that cars here in NC are always sold with very high mileage due to the nature of the long roads in the state.

This is a continuation of a post I shared here a few days ago about a certain man. For context, we met at a wedding, and he declared his interest in me but I told him I was not ready because I needed to heal.
So, he’s been asking me constantly for a meetup and I’ve really been avoiding it cos I don’t want to ignite those romantic feelings on my end yet. So, I gave in today and accepted his invitation for our meet-up. As usual, he came with a bunch of beautiful flowers which has now become a norm for wherever we meet up.
Today was quite different though because tell me why was I blushing the whole time? It’s as if I couldn’t contain myself around him that it became quite visible and we made a joke out of it.🤭
Guys, as I said in my earlier post, I’m avoiding igniting any romantic feelings from my end for the sake of giving him the best version of me when I’m ready, but the heart is saying otherwise. 😮💨
I don’t know if this is the right thing to do but I have decided to avoid meeting up with him physically until I’m ready. But again, how is this possible?

Gah! So many fumbles! At least they weren't all on Kazuya this time. I'll say Kazuya not checking the time something is kind of a half fumble. If your not used to going to places early in the morning it may not occur to you that they could be closed because they are always open when you go there.
Chizuru, never, ever, tell a guy what you have done on other dates or how many times you have done something. And Kazuya shouldn't of asked the question if he wasn't prepared for the answer.
I'm glad Chizuru told Kaz that he was important to her, and she wanted to look good for him. But he totally missed his chance to be cool there. After she said "I want you to think I'm cute" he should of said something like, "I always think you're cute."
With Chizuru saying she felt pressured about this date it made me really wish we had gotten a chapter or two of Chizuru picking her outfit out.

My mother-in-law received a message on facebook from her acquaintance, asking for her phone number so she could enter her into a raffle, which might win her a prize.
And so she gave the number, and a short while later a text arrived which reads:
" Verification Code (AWS SMS Developer Sandbox): 093875. This code is for software testing and should be ignored if received unexpectedly. "
Unfortunately she did send the code and we are not sure what to do next. We are in a small Eastern bloc country, and she uses the phone for little else besides facebook and youtube. No online finances etc.. How should we protect ourselves? Should she be changing any passwords or changing numbers? Is this a sim swap attempt?

2024.11.26 19:40 ThrowRA383927 AITAH for making a joke about my best friends medical skills while she was helping me?
A few days ago we were at a gathering with a couple of our friends, there was 6 of us in total. At one point one of my friend was opening a bottle of whiskey, and it was one of those with a wax seal so he was using a knife to open it. I was standing next to him while he was trying it, his hand slipped towards me and it slit my wrist. My best friend of 5 years was near, she’s currently doing her residency so she told me she’ll take a look at it, plus it’ll be good practice. We went away to one side since the slit was dripping with blood and it was getting everywhere.
The wrist I got cut on was my left wrist. I’m not a big fan of physical touch at all, especially if it’s on my left side. If someone touched me on my right side anywhere I would tolerate it, but if it’s anywhere on my left I have to even it out with my right side. I’ve had this for as long as I can remember and anyone who’s close to me knows about it as well. So since it’s a whole injury on my left side including the pain and the sensation of all the blood I was already feeling really out of sorts. She was applying pressure on my wrist to stem the bleeding, and while doing so she had a hold on my left arm. I really don’t know how to describe the feeling but it’s like I feel so out of control during. She noticed this was bothering me because she does know about it and she said how I’ll really have to grow out of this one day, and like I’ve told her numerous times before I can’t control it. It’s just as annoying for me as it is for anyone else around me but I just can’t help it.
There’s this other habit I have where I pick at my nail beds or the side of my fingers, the area where you get hangnails. It’s gets to the point where I always have to bandage them up because they bleed, usually it’s the same regular fingers. And so I had a bit of fresh raw skin exposed on my pointer finger which she pressed into accidentally, and I said ouch and that’s when she noted all my finger nails that were picked at. It’s always been my biggest insecurity because it doesn’t look the best, and she was like wow your nails must hate you, and it’s time to grow out of this habit and how I must be really stressed all the time. Then I said jeez great bedside manners doctor and she kind of looked at me for a second but she got quiet after that. I wasn’t exactly serious saying that, I meant it more as a joke because I did really appreciate her helping me a lot. After making sure the blood stopped coming she covered up the wound and went to clean up, and we haven’t said more than a couple of words to each other since.

I’ve had it up to my eyeballs dealing with the general public in customer service and I honestly think another Christmas will break me. My only work experience is retail and hospitality so simply changing jobs is only going to be same shit different shop. I don’t have enough in savings to feel comfortable quitting and not finding work for a few weeks.

So im really confused and its stressing me out a shit ton. I (F19) grew up as a kid always thinking i was a lesbian. Ive always wished i was a lesbian, but in the way that i simply feel wrong for liking women. I always feel like i cant date women, and that when i develop a crush on one that i shouldnt like her because its "immorally wrong". I want to be straight. I want to like a man, and have a loving relationship and have a family, But, everytime i start to even slightly develop a relationship with a man, i get a MAJOR ick. I dont wanna talk to him anymore. Block him. forget about him. But i wish so hard that i could just be with a man because to the outside world it seems so normal. I envy straight people. When i walk and see straight couples, I get jealous and angry, wishing i could be them. But I dont even want to date a man, let alone even have sex with him. It grosses me out SO much when men hit on me, and i just put them in their place by being rude, or making a joke about how its gross. I dont know what to do. Newbie here. I followed the basic recipe on King Arthur flours website and it has you proof the bread in the fridge for up to 5 days. I made the dough last night and now I’m wondering if I should bake tonight then warm them for thanksgiving or travel tomorrow with the dough and bake Thursday morning. Thoughts? I could put the dough in a cooler to keep it from getting too warm. Planning to bring a cooler for leftovers anyway!
