Hi all, I have a save in the epilogue & another in chapter 2. I love hunting in the game & adding to the compendium and have a few days off this week for thanksgiving.
I want to do some serious grinding this week, any tips on some of the compendium animals that might be harder to find? I have around 45% of it completed in my epilogue save if this helps, and I realize I won’t be able to get the animals from that tropical island if I continue with the epilogue save.
Any tips & recs would be appreciated! Would love to get the compendium completed at some point soon!

My baby has Nuchal translucency of 3.7 mm with normal NIPT. I’m ending my orthodontic treatment soon and will probably have to do final X-rays of my teeth and jaws. I’m worried about putting my baby at risk since it already has an enlarged nuchal translucency. I asked my OB if it’s okay to have X-rays and she said yes if I absolutely have to. I’m worried about putting my baby at risk. What would you do?

2024.11.26 17:39 Something_Heinous Trying to brainstorm a horror monster of sorts.
So the concept I've been working with is that some sort of phenomenon causes monsters to physically manifest in our world. Basically they always exist, but more in our periphery and can't really harm us until there is some sort of change in "perspective".
I'm taking a lot of inspiration from the H. P. Lovecraft story "From Beyond". A lot of what I've been thinking is a sound or vibration changes our perspective to the point that both these monsters and we ourselves are visible and tangible to one another.
My primary idea is that a fog or mist rolls in and any time someone makes noise in said fog or mist, the monsters become tangible. But there is a sound or frequency that can be played to make them visible too. Otherwise it's nearly impossible to fight them.
It feels a bit derivative of "A Quiet Place" I guess.
Anyway I need some help brainstorming and was hoping ya'll could help.

Hey guys! It's actually a bit frustrating. My boyfriend and I have played GW2 since this May. We mostly do open world events/meta/fractal.
Then I joined a discord group for GW2, and I accidentally showed a screenshot with my weapon/slot skills on it. Then some senior players started to criticize that my build is weird and useless, telling me that I should change them. (I'm not even asking for suggestions actually!)
I've just felt that I'm starting to get familiar with this game and can be more involved in the community...yet this incident makes me stumble again. Is it really important to use those mainstream build to enjoy the game? (I'm not randomly choose my traits and skills. I've also tried and studied them, so I felt kind of offended when they said those words...)
Have you guys also encountered things like as well...?

I am looking real life/IRL pictures of installed Revwood Premier Eden Springs in especially Creillo Hickory. There’s a drastic difference in the stock and visualizer appearance (gorgeous light wood with gold undertones) and samples (not great light wood with blue streaking). But from a distance and my lighting, the colors in the sample don’t seem as bad. A Mohawk rep said, (paraphrasing) “Creillo is great… but the sample doesn’t do it justice” in another post. This is the grain pattern, which lacks a lot of rustic knots and saw streaks, could fit my Skandi/transitional modern decor ideas(a la West Elm).
