2024.11.26 17:30 sjbucks Audio Tools not showing in ProTools Ultimate
I'm moving over to ProTools and have been using it for a few days without any issues. But I've just noticed that the Audio Tools are all missing - stuff like Normalize, Invert, Trim etc.
As I understand it, they should show up under Audiosuite> Other, but they aren't there. None of them are there as Insert FX either. I've searched Program Files>Common Files>Avid for "Normalize" but all I can find is the stuff about it in the manual, not the actual plug-in.
It's my understanding that they should have been part of the main install so it's weird that they aren't there. Other plug-ins I've installed work just fine - both third-party and Avid.
I'm running a Windows 11 PC and my version of ProTools is 2024.10.0
Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

I have an ASUS laptop that i am trying to connect to 2 monitors with HDMI cables
I have connected the each individual HDMI cable from each individual monitor to a dual HDMI port connector to the laptop. Both monitors are turned on and mirror each other. I have extended the screens but i cannot detect the second monitor thus it just mirrors both screens the same. I have tried the basic troubleshooting but cant figure it out.

Ma copine termine au 31 décembre un CDD de trois mois. On lui propose d'enchaîner sur un CDI, elle n'aura donc pas droit à ses indemnités de fin de contrat.
Elle est prête à y renoncer, mais aimerait cependant que son CDI ne démarre pas immédiatement car nous avions prévu de partir en voyage tout le mois de janvier.
Peut-elle, par une attestation sur l'honneur ou autres, dire qu'elle accepte de renoncer à ses indemnités tout en demandant de commencer son CDI fin janvier ? Y a-t-il un autre moyen de contourner ce système afin ?
Je précise qu'elle est journaliste et qu'elle peut facilement être remplacée par d'autres pigistes pendant son absence.

Hello,
my girlfriend has a 2012 mini, and the transmission light keeps coming on. The shifter sometimes is hard to get out of park, and is getting worse. I thought it might be the torsion spring in the shifter, as I've read that as a frequent issue, but all the parts and posts I can find list 2013 and newer only.
Does anyone have any idea if it could/would be the same spring on the 2012, or have any idea what else it might be?

Currently built with hmx lotus switches & osume mori keycaps. Can ship it unbuilt as well. Comes with original accessories (carrying case, auth card, drawstring bag, and extra feet and gaskets).
There is a very light scratch on the back of the weight next to the usb-c plug. Not noticeable unless put into light and at an angle. Shown on the 3rd picture. There is also a broken stripped screw in one of the holes, messed up while building and did not try to get it out. Doesn't affect anything major. The direct top and bottom case are flawless.
