We have installed FortiClient for all our Windows laptops but our CISO told FortiClient is only necessary on devices of people that have actually rights for using VPN because not everyone has rights to make the VPN connection.
I now do a uninstall for all devices and in the same time I do a Install on user basis on a group that has VPN rights. My question does this work? Because now I do a uninstall of all devices but in the same time I assign it to a user group.

2024.11.26 19:13 quasar720 Final Cut Pro for iPad won’t recognize camera for importing
I’ve got an M4 iPad and just downloaded Final Cut Pro for iPad. My camera, Nikon Z8, is on the list of supported cameras in Apple’s documentation but I can’t get the software to recognize the camera when plugged in with a USB cable. Imports to Lightroom and Apple photos work just fine with this setup. Have tried restarting both devices, starting new projects, nothing seems to work. The one workaround is importing videos to Apple photos and then importing to FCP from Photos but that’s a lot of extra steps I’d rather not do.
Any suggestions?

What exactly has this war achieved for Lebanon and Hezb?
Let me be clear, because many of you don't seem to understand simple questions... How is Hezb and Lebanon now in a better place than before Oct 8, 2023? Especially Hezb, who is now forced to withdraw North of Litani and abandon any weapons and installations still in the south? With the international community this time super serious about implementing 1701 (which includes 1559), and all weapon smuggling routes to Hezb now under a microscope... Which makes Hezb's claimed status as a "Resistance" void and nul (not that it ever was legit after 2000).
Again, be serious and not ideological in your responses for once in your lives... How is Hezb and Lebanon better off now than pre 8 Oct 2023? Especially that Hezb's condition to stop the war since day 1, was "we won't stop until it stops in Gaza", and now the cease fire has nothing to do with Gaza. And apparently Israel having a guarantee from the US to intervene and hit anytime they see Hezb screwing around in the south... Failure on all levels.
Explain to me please, How: Hezb being greatly reduced, most leaders killed, Lebanon in ruins Especially the South, thousands dead, Hezb resources being cut off, Hezb being put on the path to disarm in the future - How all this (and much more) is some grand victory, and how was launching this war against Lebanon's will, made things better for you and for the rest of Lebanon?
Note: The usual empty claims that "Israel was going to attack anyway if Hezb didn't start the war", are still dumb claims and divorced from reality. If you want to botch your enemy's super duper secret war, you don't just launch random rockets for an entire year across the border... You would actually attack and hit them hard especially immediately after Oct 7. So please, spare yourself the embarrassment of repeating these idiotic claims.

During Covid the government suspended student loan payments. Last October 1st they started again but your Fico would not be affected if you defaulted until October 1st of this year. Almost 50% haven’t been able to pay. How much would that lower the Fico score? It could be a lot like 50-100 points. And it would make getting car loans and other credit harder to get. Thoughts??

 | This all happened just before Christmas 2017. I posted this story a few days ago under a “Fucked around & found out” thread posted to AskReddit. Am now reposting with pictures since I just found this group. So the story is, my friend & I were leaving a mutual friend’s house & found a stray cat. The people who had been sheltering him had just thrown him out because he sprayed. My friend & I agreed to split the duty of caring for him: She would take him for the time being & I would get him fixed & take care of him while he recovered, maybe permanently. Well, we got him fixed, and when he was picked up, the vet at the humane society gave very specific instructions to keep him calm, quiet and not stress him out, because his incision was only glued & he would be in pain. My family had taken in stray cats before & we had dealt with plenty of cats post-sterilization, so of course we knew what we were doing, right? We took him home, introduced him to our two elderly (and not welcoming) cats & let him have roam of the house. Three days after we took him in, I woke up to my mom yelling at him & frantically calling for me to come out to the living room, because he was freaking out & had attacked her. I made it to the scene & he instantly pounced on me, tearing up my knee. Much blood was shed. I went to the ER for antibiotics, Mom ended up sick with Cat Scratch disease, and the cat went back to live with my friend (the only human he actually ended up liking).  | Trigger warning.. never had to do that for my own self before - kinda weird. To make a long & sad story short..I was in an abusive relationship (mentally, emotionally and physically) where he stripped me of my self worth, identity and sanity. He was a master at manipulation and I ended up harming myself. I..It got really bad, my mental state. I was thinking in fight or flight for over 6 months. How I understand this happened is I got cornered and stood over (as well as slapped) in my kitchen on Halloween night while my ex and I were supposed to be carving pumpkins. May I point out too this behavior is NOT and was NOT normal for me. I truly blacked out, I don’t remember doing this to myself… and really freaked myself out and to be quite honest, scared myself a lot. I have been receiving therapy. Since being out of said relationship for over a year (go me!) the disbelief that I would have ever done something like this to myself grows daily. My family doesn’t know, and I’d like to wear short sleeves without seeing that night ever again on my arm. Any and all ideas welcome! Please tattoo artists, help me forget this day! (Original tat is about 5 1/2 - 6 inches long.) I’ve messed around with some ideas but the way the scars go makes it hard for me to see anything that “flows”.
