2024.11.26 21:39 HerolegendIsTaken How does matchmaking work? I can't seem to get any fun lobbies.
While this might make me seem pretentious or like i'm trying to show off, but this isn't the case at all.
I'm asking how matchmaking works, is it skill based etc because frankly i have yet to lose a game. I don't think of myself as overly good at shooter games, nor do i play them much but i have never placed out of the top three on my team. Most of the time i'm 1st or second.
I quit the game because of this, as it was no fun killing everyone so easily. While it is a nice ego boost it makes you really bored after a while. There is no difficulty.
So am i doing something wrong? Are there some modes that have more skill based matchmaking? I played a couple of games in every gamemode and I can't really see much difference.
There is ranked but i dont like ranked much after trying it.
So yeah, is Call of duty just like that? MW3 is my first COD so is this sort of thing normal or am i somehow connecting to super easy servers or something? Is the matchmaking broken? I really don't know.

Hi Iām trying to look at the planets in our solar system but when I look through they all look like this (image 1 is Jupiter) thatās really the best image Iāve gotten of it and Saturn and mars look the same (2 and 3). I use a slokey skyways 40070 telescope (specifications image 4) with a 25mm lense, 10mm lense and a 3x Barlow lense. Iāve tried looking up issues but havenāt found anyone mentioning this specific telescope and other solutions include wearing sunglasses to dim the planets which didnāt work, making sure itās focused properly which made it look very bright or one big grey blob, waiting until itās high above the horizon which I do anyway, collimating the telescope which might be the issue as the example photo looked similar to mine but I donāt want to start messing on with it without knowing what Iām doing (there are these black screws image 5 but I donāt want to unscrew them willy nilly) however it did say a properly collimated telescope will be able to see the Galilean moons which I can (6) and itās clear outside, the telescope is outside for sometimes past an hour which the manual says only 20 minutes will do and if it helps (7) Jupiter just above the middle is this bright with Orionās Belt quite a bit below it for scale. If anyone knows how to solve this please let me know Iām dying to see them properly haha thanks.

About 4 weeks ago I (22M, still live at home with my parents) was woken up by very loud conversations coming from my parents room. My parents usually had a very (seemingly) happy marriage and I had never been woken up by arguing before. I couldnāt help but listen, and the gist of it that I could pick up was that my mum was cheating on my dad.
I was a bit shocked for a couple days but sorta forgot about and tried to convince myself that I must have misheard them or not got the full story. Because I just couldnāt believe my mum would do that.
And then fast forward to this morning, I hear them arguing about it again. Much clearer this time. My mum saying she doesnāt see him anymore and that she wouldnāt do it again. You get the picture.
I feel physically sick and donāt know how I can look at my mum the same way again. Am I massively overreacting or is it natural to shocked to learn this?
