2024.11.26 20:16 LycaGamerYT Drop Chemistry for CS?
Hey all,
Currently having mad subject regret, it’s only been 2 months but I already hate Chemistry and it’s not even gotten that hard yet.
Currently do Maths, FM, Econ and Chem, and I’m looking to go into Maths or Economics at Uni which means Chemistry is really a subject I’m taking for a balance.
Most people I talked to then did Physics with the other three for the balance, but I picked Chemistry just cause I enjoyed it a little more at GCSE (but not that much).
The thing is I really enjoy Computer Science, and I have no clue why I didn’t take it. It was the only GCSE I didn’t revise for but I only ended up dropping 1 mark on it, and I do a bit of Python and Lua outside of school.
Is it really worth switching now? I’m over a month into Chemistry and that’s a lot of catch up for Computer Science, is it possible to catch up? The exam board for CS is AQA.

I had a big toe fusion done 6 weeks ago and have recently been cleared to go back into an “athletic” shoe. There is an upcoming Gala event for like-minded folks coming up that I was building up courage to attend. Do you think a look similar to the pics would be ok? I will be glammed out head to toe…well ankle, but the shoes will have to be much less glam. For reference, I am a women’s size 13/14 when my foot is not healing from surgery, so my options are limited to begin with. I will probably have a red clutch to pair with the shoes. It could be fun, right? Any input is appreciated.

So I have been talking with a filipina from General Santos/Davao area of the Philippines. She will spend 5hrs a day messaging me, She worries about if i have eaten, gets mad if i question her trust, I asked her about a background check because someone brought it up initially she was angry but then said she had nothing to hide go for it and even pushed me to do it. I have not because i myself feel its an invasion of privacy. She has brought up money. She is a college student her she was raised by her grandparents and they died a few years ago.
She has shown proof of all her expenses and issues when i ask. She seems legit. But she will be really close and talkative for a 2-3 weeks then get really distant, if i ask her she says its because she works 2 jobs and exhausted at times. She claims to be an introvert.
In 6 months we have shared 12000 text messages and 500 photos each. all unique and different, we have done over 12hrs of video call. Due to her jobs its hard. I work in the railroad and some weeks our schedules never line up. She sends me messages asking about if i slept, if i ate, if i am okay. She gets mad at me when i am insecure and tries to calm me down and get me to focus.
The one of red flag i have seen is that she once a month hints at needing money. But it seems legit she needs help for some monthly medical expenses and has shown me the receipts for her treatments and where she goes. She has shown me medical condition and what its doing to her.
She wants me to come see her in march she even picked the week, she suggested i fly in to Davao since its cheaper. Then she wants to go introduce me to friends, she claims she has no family.
The next red flag is she wont add me on tiktok or facebook. She claims it was hacked. My view is since we have not met in person its not a big deal but then flying across the world with no idea of her friends circle is a little worry-some.
She randomly sends me poems. She sends me photos randomly through the day. Does random video messages and voice messages.
I just worry about the money and lack of adding me on social media. And yes i have helped her with money. But even when i couldn't help her she stuck around and says don't worry i don't care about your money.

Title. I'm confused, did lockdown remove Pursuit mode? How do you get to it? I figured it would be in PvP like before, but it's not.
