I can get the average of 70 FPS for a game like Red Dead 2 on ultra settings (with MSAA off). It depends on the area though, some places it's 60, others it can go over 80.
With LSFG, I can go full max settings and still get 75 FPS. However, it comes with its bugs, latency, visual degradation, ghosting, flickering lights, disappearing head, etc.
So, what to do with it? If I get a monitor that supports 165hertz, will this program be worth it?

2024.11.26 20:11 trillykins I bought a Playstation controller
So, it happened. Sony managed to release a limited edition controller that actually looks kind of neat. You guessed it, they've only made one half-decent looking controller.
The box it comes in is styled after the original Playstation black and yellow box. Unfortunately, the packaging feels pretty cheap and flimsy. Given the price I'm a bit surprised they'd package it in this thing because it offers almost no protection. I can feel the sticks through the box. Open up the box and you get... a controller stuffed in a plastic bag, an unstyled instruction booklet, and that's it. I guess they assume you have your own charging cable? If you want the novelty charging cable you have to fork over the big box for the console apparently.
The d-pad feels pretty cheap. When you press it down it, like, slides around. I'm surprised that the touchpad is a giant-ass button, too. Feels a bit wobbly. Analogue sticks are still low, for some reason, moving up-right has you touch the buttons like with all their other controllers. Controller also still rests on the triggers, but they they've added concave feet that prevents accidental triggering when putting it down. Hey, they're learning!
Feel-wise it's a big improvement over the PS4 and no-contest over the bottom-shelf shit-show that was the PS3 controller. Actually kind of funny how many people pretended that Playstation made the better controllers when even Sony became more or more blatant in copying the Xbox controller mold. Build quality also feels a lot better than anything they've made before. I don't get the impression like I could snap it in half by accident unlike, again, like the PS4 and PS3 controllers.
Now I just need to find a game on PC that supports the adaptive trigger thingamajig. Oh, nothing I want to play. Oh well, maybe some other day.

New putter showed up a day early.
My review so far: Fit and finish is great. I wish the head was a little longer from front to back (so does she), but I’ll get used to it (so did she). Ordering a new grip for it. I wanted an arm lock grip, but they didn’t stock the type I wanted. Came with 5,10,15, and 20g weights and a hand written generic note thanking me for purchasing their “club”. Nice gesture nonetheless. Putter face feels soft upon strike which I like. Came from an older TP Ardmore putter. Came with a nice magnetic putter cover, which I prefer over velcro. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. That could change once I get it on the green. Can’t wait to miss 3-foot putts with this thing. Bag candy none the less.

Hi everyone, my dog recently got groomed and I’m assuming got clipper burn from the groomer. Location is on her neck, right below her ear. I took her to the vet and was prescribed two oral medications. It’s only been 2 days since she’s been taking the medicine but she has somehow figured out a way to scratch the hot spot despite having a cone on. Now it went from being a scab to wet and open all over again. I’ve tried antiseptic/anti itch sprays specifically for hot spots and nothing seems to be working. I called the vet again for an alternative and they said they’d get back to me. Is there anything I can do in the mean time for relief ?? I feel so awful.
