There are only a few rules:
-Jar use is allowed, jars are always allowed!!!!
-We will have to use dryleaf handwork or footwork ONLY. No other weapons - period. I just want to see all the bosses get absolutely group smacked.
-Ash of Wars, Infusions, and Weapon Skills are ALL allowed as long as it is attached to a dryleaf weapon!!
-Staves/Finger Seals are okay to use for buffs but not for attacking.
-Shields can only be used in order to parry the Aged Ones in the DLC. As of right now that is the only enemy that requires parrying as the only form of defeating them.

QoL, additional resources and tools, mechanisms, some extra mobs and bosses, additional randomly generated structures, etc. Things like that.
I'm trying to go for a dark fantasy kind of vibe.

Last summer I was in Greece and there I tried a great arugula salad. I don't remember the name of the salad, it was probably an arugula salad, but what made it different was that the arugula was blanched (I guess) to tender the leaves. Does anyone know how to do it exactly, because I tried to make it, but apparently it's either just blanching and there is a different preparation technology, or I'm making a mistake somewhere?

There's a long overdue, new skatepark in town. A stainless steel frame and vibrant colourful composite panels have replaced the shabby and tired wooden skatepark. Already decorated in graffiti, expressing the struggles of teenage life and scrawled with band names like Nirvana, Black Flag and Pink Floyd. Relics of an attitude from before the kid's were even born. During the day, the skatepark stands dormant. By nightfall however, it comes alive as it draws out the odd balls and misfits of town. Amongst the clattering chaos, a group of teens chat about an urban legend.
"I wonder if we'll see her tonight", says one of them.
"See who?".
"The Ghost Girl, she appeared a few weeks ago", says another.
"No way, that's just a legend. There's no such thing as ghosts."
"Who's the ghost girl?", one of them asks.
"She was some bullied kid", one of them says. "She jumped from the bridge into the river. They never found her body. People say she haunts the park now, looking for revenge".
"Well I sure as shit won't be hangin' around if she does appear".
The rattling of wheels and grating grind of trucks fill the night air. Cheers erupt as tricks land, followed by groans when they fail. Loud, rebellious music wraps the skatepark in its chaos.
"Hey did you see that?", says one of the teens.
"Looked like a girl", another adds, glancing at the bridge, "Did anyone else see?".
As one of the young boys peaks and races back down the quarter pipe, he approaches the jump box. Rising into the air and grabbing his board he hears whispers in his ears. On his way back down to Earth, a shivering ghostly figure appears in front of him. Passing through the icy apparition and his heart pounding in his throat, he fumbles his landing and ends in a heap. The Ghost Girl stands over him, twitching. Her face hidden beneath ragged hair. Clothes soaked as ice cold water flows off her scrawny frame. The two lock eyes for a moment as the chaos of the park settles leaving just the music wrapping a hollowed atmosphere. The girl extends her spindly arms towards the boy with pale hands open wide, as if ready to snatch the boy and drag him to join her in a watery grave below the muddy banks.
The boy shuffles back in an instant, escaping the Ghost Girl's grasp. He springs to his feet and without his board, he darts in any available direction away from the girl. The other kids scramble to escape the park any which way they can. Their screams fade into the darkness as they disappear into the night.
The ghostly girl slumps down onto the grind box as her drowned eyes stare longingly at the shadows of where the teens fled. She lets out a heavy sigh as she's left, wrapped in the silence of the skatepark.

2024.11.26 21:40 Drivetrou Some people are just correctly getting all the reads possible.
What can I actually do? Whenever I play this game, I stumble upon people that never fall for any feints and perfectly parry heavies. Is there something I should try to become/beat them? It just feels like the only damage I can get is from dubble lights after a parry and occasionally a top heavy from a parried light. Keep in mind that I'm playing as Warden which means I have alot of unblockables. I don't think I'm predictable yet noone ever falls for these feints.

В российских детских садах, школах и техникумах начали проводить учения на случай ракетных ударов со стороны Украины. Подобные мероприятия прошли как минимум в 16 регионах страны, подсчитало «Агентство», изучив группы образовательных учреждений во «ВКонтакте».
В частности, занятия по ракетной опасности прошли в приграничных с Украиной Брянской, Белгородской, Курской и Воронежской областях. В школах Брянска учителя объяснили детям, что делать в случае ракетной угрозы, и отрепетировали эвакуацию в безопасные места после удара ракет ATACMS по Карачаеву. Такие же занятия прошли в городе Клинцы и других населенных пунктах региона.
В Белгородской области подобные учения стали проводить после ракетного обстрела Белгорода в феврале этого года, в результате которого 7 человек погибли, а 20 получили ранения. С этого времени детсады, школы и техникумы отчитались во «ВКонтакте» о 39 такого рода занятиях.
В Курской области соответствующие уроки проводятся с марта. До этого жители региона жаловались, что в школах не отработаны алгоритмы действий на случай ракетной опасности, а занятия порой не прерывают во время реальной тревоги. К концу ноября в области прошло уже не менее 21 занятия по ракетной опасности.
При этом не везде родители довольны тем, как детей учат реагировать на тревогу. Мать ученицы младших классов из Орловской области рассказала «Агентству», что ее дочь довели до истерики неожиданной тренировкой в детской школе искусств. Согласно фотоотчету, детей усаживали под парты и эвакуировали через окно первого этажа.
«Когда я вошла в класс за ребенком, ее успокаивали и дети, и учитель. Она впечатлительная, и на нее это произвело крайне неблагоприятное впечатление. Пришлось рассказывать, что это снимали кино, и она стала актером. Только тогда немного успокоилась», — отметила женщина.
17 ноября президент США Джо Байден разрешил Украине бить вглубь России американскими дальнобойными ракетами ATACMS. Это решение стало ответом на появление северокорейских военных в зоне боевых действий в Курской области.
