Use the Title area to insert your text ... if u add an image in the image tab it only allows u to add more images theres no text option there. if u upload an image in the image tab then type in the "text" tab, its only going to upload the text without the image. so in short these tabs make u choose which type of post u want to make rather than allow u to upload whatever u'd like like image text and link in each then make a unified post.

2024.11.26 21:30 Free-Rip-375 How to solve torque steer

I have a 2023 GTI Autobahn DSG that was recently tastefully modded, including a stage 1 plus ECU tune. I don't know the exact numbers, but it has like 350 hp and maybe 340 torque. Before modding, it had zero torque steer. People say that even with a tune, torque steer is minimal. And from what I've seen in videos, I don't see any sign of it, either.
However, in my experience, torque steer seems extreme. The car jerks left and right from like 20 to 90.
Is there anything I can do to minimize this? I don't think I'm going to end up in a ditch or anything, but it definitely takes the fun out of mashing the accelerator.

I've heard some unis like Warwick do "rolling" offers, meaning they send them out before the end of January deadline. 2024.11.26 21:30 Negative-Diamond-494 Recurrent BV/yeast issues

Hi all. Hoping to get any insight or advice because I’m feeling really discouraged right now. Back in August, I started experiencing discomfort with my vagina and went to planned parenthood, they told me I had BV. They prescribed me metronidazole antibiotic pills. That took care of my BV, but then gave me a yeast infection. I then was prescribed fluconazole to treat the yeast infection, but things didn’t really get better. My university insurance kicked in, so I was able to start getting care there, and asked for another swab. The results showed I now had both yeast and BV concurrently. I was given treatment for both and took the prescribed medications as directed.
Also for context, through this whole fiasco, in between treatments, I had been having sex with my partner, and that seemed to sort of flare things up so I suspected that I wasn’t giving my vagina the time it needed to fully heals.
But anyway, the dual treatment really knocked out most of my symptoms for the most part. But I had a tiny bit of lingering discomfort. I ended up doing another swab to confirm that things were okay, and it came out clear. No yeast or BV. I also started taking probiotics from the brand Love Wellness around this time too. For a whole month or so, everything seemed to be going well. I thought I was finally in the clear. My partner and I are also on top of it when having sex - in terms of hygiene, clean up, etc.
But as of a few days ago, I started feeling itchiness and discomfort again. A friend suggested boric acid, so Friday night I inserted a boric acid suppository but don’t think I pushed it far up enough because when I woke up in the morning it had not dissolved and sort came out clumpy. It also caused me burning the entire next day after. So that didn’t go over super well.
Monday I went back to the doctor, and asked them to do ANOTHER swab. And turns out I have BV again. I’m so frustrated. This has felt like a never ending battle for the past 4 months. And I don’t know what to do. My sex drive has been so low, and I don’t even look forward to sex anymore because I’m so anxious that my pH will be thrown off and I’ll get an infection.
At first I thought maybe sex was a trigger, but in the week leading up to my symptoms being back, I wasn’t even having sex!! So at this point I’m just so confused.
I am going to be booking an appt with a women’s health specialist to discuss these recurrent infections. Is there anything I should advocate for? I really want to get to the bottom of this.

I have educational advice for new plasma donors who may be considering to try it out and earn extra money:

  1. Eat a meal high in protein 2-3 hours before donating, but your plasma protein levels depend on what you ate the day before.
  2. Drink plenty of water and/or non-caffeinated juice before donating to stay hydrated. It's important to stay hyrdrated at least the day before, and the day of your donation.
  3. Avoid caffeine such as in coffee or soda before donating or you may get nauseous and vomit or faint during your donation.
  4. No alcohol 24 hours before, and for a little while after donating.
  5. No exercising for at least 6 hours after donating as it can put too much stress on the vein.
  6. Some people get away with smoking or vaping nicotine before and after donating, but it's recommended not to for 2 hours before and after. The nicotine can raise your heart's pulse rate.
  7. If your pulse rate is 100 or above, you'll be able to do a vitals retake after a 15 minute wait. But if it's 100 or higher again you'll be deferred for the day. If your pulse rate is an issue, listen to "Pink Noise" or "Green Noise" at a low volume before donating which may help reduce your pulse rate, along with its effect on lowering your blood pressure.
  8. There is a risk of getting a blown vein if the worker is having a hard time finding your vein when they're sticking you with the needle or if you have small veins. You may get deferred until your vein heals if that happens. But it's ok, your body is able to regenerate your veins with a process called Angiogenesis.
  9. There is a risk of blood clots, but when your blood is constantly moving through the machine it prevents that from happening.
  10. You may be subject to drug screening. The drug screening tests for methamphetamines, cocaine, and heroin. Certain pharma prescription meds may show up as a false positive so you'll want to let the plasma center know what meds you're taking. Testing positive for these drugs can result in a permanent deferral from donating plasma.
  11. A sample of your blood will be drawn periodically to test for certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs). A positive test will result in either a temporary or permanent deferral from donating plasma. If you've ever been diagnosed or received treatment for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B (HBV) or Hepatitis C (HCV) you will be permanently deferred from donating plasma.
Donating Plasma with Managed Diabetes
Individuals with well-controlled diabetes can contribute to plasma donation, but certain criteria need to be met:
Absence of Complications: This means no existing diabetic complications affecting your kidneys, heart, blood vessels, or eyes.
Insulin Independence: If you rely on insulin for diabetes management, a three-month waiting period is required after using needles for non-prescribed medications. Additionally, you must be free of symptoms or treatment needs related to blood sugar fluctuations (high or low) for the past three months.
  1. Healthy Feet: Active foot ulcers requiring medical attention will disqualify you from donation.
  2. Steady Balance: You shouldn't experience dizziness or lightheadedness upon standing.
  3. Type 1 Consideration: For Type 1 diabetics, eating within two hours of donation is mandatory.
