 | I would like to learn more about programming, so please check my program and leave your feedback. My main goals are frontlever and HSPU. I’m pretty close to the frontlever, but my pushing strength sucks. I have more direct work for the frontlever, while I try and increase my pushing strength with overhead presses twice a week. I find it easier to scale than pike push-ups, plus I get more ROM. Secondary goals are improving my handstand and pulling strength, and managing fatigue through a RPE-based approach. I work in 4-week mesos in 4 macrocycles and the pictures are from my 2nd meso. For my main movements/lifts I use sort of a block periodization model where I increase intensity over macrocycles into a realization cycle with low reps and very high intensity in the 4th macrocycle. After this I start a new macrocycle with higher reps and lower intensity again. Hope it makes sense. I make small changes in rep ranges for secondary lifts and accessory exercises to avoid plateaus, and keep RPE around 7-8. I usually have a lower body day in my schedule, but recovering from a hip injury at the moment, so I just do band and balance work at home. This year, my sister (29F) decided she wanted to "help bring some order" to the gathering. At first, I thought she just meant coordinating who would bring what dishes or helping with cleanup. Instead, she showed up at my house last week with printed copies of what she called a "Family Code of Conduct."
She handed these out and insisted everyone read and sign them before attending Thanksgiving. Some highlights included:
- A rule against "overlapping conversations" at the dinner table, with suggestions for taking turns like "a respectful debate club."
- A "ban on political or controversial topics," with her as the final arbiter of what was too heated.
- A dress code of "smart casual" because "holiday photos should reflect well on the family."
- Assigned seating that she claimed was based on "optimal personality compatibility."
She doubled down, saying I was being ungrateful and stubborn. I canceled hosting, and now the family is mad at me. My mom thinks I should’ve just humored her for the day, while my brother (35M) is refusing to go anywhere unless “no one tries to draft a holiday constitution.”
I’m torn. Was I wrong for standing my ground, or should I have let her run the day to keep the peace?

The zone shouldn't care about you, it should be harsh, unpredictable and full of forces you don't understand. Instead it nortures you, it gives you more food and health then you'll ever need. Every stash, artifact and corpse is only lootable by you. When it thinks you might be bored it spawns some guys next to you that shoot at you. It builds you pathways to stashes so you can have a fun climbing puzzle. It has itself organiszed in mmo/open world pois that have exactly the right distance between them so your exploring pace is not disturbed.
I feel that this feeling is the main concern of people who miss a-life. They want to experience a world that doesn't depend on them and not a world that shows you it's a videogame trying to entertain you all the time.
