How do you dress baby during winter in a way that’s easy in/out of the car seat? I hate having to remove a jacket while standing with the door open to get baby in the car seat. I worry they are getting cold while I’m trying to place them in the seat. Realize I could get in the car to take the jacket off and place them in the seat, but it’s annoying having to take the jacket on/off. Wondering if anyone has any tips/tricks or outfits that are both warm and do well in a car seat.

Hi there! As the title suggests, I am considering leaving my company. I am currently a BCBA and I truly love what I do. However, I am being severely underpaid. Last year I brought home $32k even though the contract I signed 2 years ago stated I would make $52k/year as long as I billed 25hours/week. Anything I do that can't be billed to insurance is paid at $15/hour. I've been a BCBA for almost 2 years now. I am consistently billing ~20-23 hours per week. The biggest barriers to me not reaching billable requirements is client/staff cancellations and not having enough staff to take on more clients. I'm currently on maternity leave and I have been doing some serious reflections because I really don't think I'm being paid fairly at all. I am just struggling because I love the people I work with and the environment. But when I see other companies in my area offering $65k+ I can't help but wonder if the grass is really greener...

I (32f) work in an area that I really enjoy. I worked hard and progressed fast to a management position. I was highly sought after within the company and received praise, awards etc for my work. I did not have a good work life balance however, and with two small children I decided to leave. I am now at a junior management level currently in another company. I make more money and I have a better quality of life outside of work. This role is busy but mentally not very stimulating. The more senior management treat our level as if we are incompetent and can be pretty condescending towards us. I feel like neither position is for me but I don't know what position would be! When I left my previous position they spoke about promoting me to a senior management role but with the impact of the demands in the role I was in at the time already being too much I declined it. I feel like I am too experienced for the role I am in but more senior roles are too demanding of my personal time that I cannot give. Taking age, family stage and finances into account what would you do? I think I know the answer and I need to put family first for now but interested to hear if anyone else has been in this position?
