Hello,
let me explain the situation Me and a friend went on holiday in Istanbul from 13 August to 20 August. When we got there we looked for a taxi to take us to the hotel. When we arrived the taxi driver charged us 100 Euros for a 45 minute ride. So, although it should normally cost 40 to 50 euros, we paid twice as much. By then we had reported this to the tourism police in Istanbul. Then the police called him (the taxi driver) and asked what happened. It turned out that the taxi driver made us pay double because he wanted us to pay in advance, so his idea was that he would take us back to the airport on the way back. The police told us this and said: "if he doesn't pick you guys up you have to contact the police again" and he also said "what you want me to do bro?". So, unfortunately, the day we were supposed to go he didn't show up
When we arrived at the airport (in another taxi) we received a message from (the taxi driver who scammed us) and he told us that he had been in a car accident and that he would transfer the money. but he didn't, so 60+ days have passed and he is not replying to my messages.
Now my question is can anybody find out what his real name is so I can report him to the police I only have his phone number and a picture of him.

I found out 3 weeks ago when I switched to the tidy breeze box with the pads and noticed right away on the pad. He has been to the vet twice and had medication because they said he had a infection us he has a lump in his tummy. We could not afford the xray while we were there last time so they said next time if he is still bleeding we need to have it done. We're supposed to make a appt next week but I do not have enough because what I have need for bills and what I have coming is for bills. We spent our Savings for rent for the year so we don't have to worry about rent but I'm the only one working. And it's part time I start a new Job tomorrow but I still won't have enough for atleast 2 or 3 weeks and he is sleeping more and not playing as much. I feel bad asking for help but did not know what else to do I'm already trying to pickup shifts on gigpro and doing surveys for a little money but it's just not enough.

I’ve had Graves Disease for a year now and have been taking anti thyroid medication methimazole. My endocrinologist wants me to get RAI treatment or get a thyroidectomy. She told me to do my research (which I’ve been doing that) but I don’t know what’s the best choice to choose. They both seem risky. She also gave me the option if I wanted to continue to stay on the anti thyroid medication but the issue with that is the it can cause problems with my bone marrow, and liver which I don’t want that. All this has been super overwhelming and I don’t know what the best choice. If anyone has ever had RAI or a thyroidectomy done I would want to hear your experiences !! It could be helpful <333

 | Owned it 1 week now and I’m honestly super happy with it. This is my first long board let alone e-skate. And I’ve been a pretty bad skater for 10 years now. The more I ride it the more I love it. It’s super carvey and super fun. I can get pretty low and make some tight turns at speed already. Only downside on the carveyness of it is it doesn’t really want to stay on center and can get some speed wobbles. Usually the solution is for me not to lock my legs so I can handle any disturbances. If your stance is right you can keep it under control. It’s got way more power than I need. But that comes in handy cuz it’s got enough for me to carve going up hill at 15mph These honey comb wheels feel pretty good on asphalt and pavement and while feeling solid. But I’m wondering what it would take to put pneumatics on it for some more comfortable off roading. 2024.11.27 00:30 Extension-Cow5820 This new ban on Bluetooth speakers, includes sound machines… I have severe tinnitus.
Not sure if anyone can relate, but I have severe tinnitus and sleep with a white noise machines—which I’ve found especially helpful on cruises. Mine is multi-tonal and so loud I truly cannot sleep without it. I can use my phone but it doesn’t work as well the sound has a tinniness to it, and I prefer my sound machine as it uses a single charge and lasts the whole trip.
I’m in full support of the Bluetooth speaker ban, that’s a well deserved ban, but the sound machines aren’t loud enough to reach anyone other than the person next to them, and don’t sync to anything. :(
Is anyone else in the same boat as me? I’m considering taping a prescription to it and packing it as a medical device.

Hi all. You'd think I'd know this as I m a senior HR partner but I am just in shock (as well as all the senior executives and staff and colleagues about the details of my termination).
Long story short another HR person (jealous and new who basically stared they wanted my job first week I was training them) started lies and rumors 1. That I was intoxicated at a work party (I wasn't and had ways to prove it) and got together with some others saying I was saying bad things about her. The had an external employee relations person investigate and I was spoken to twice. I answered every question honestly. The call she claimed that someone else was on told her I was talking bad about had another HR colleague on it who could verify I never even spoke of this person on this call and honestly I've only said nice things about her.
After 7 weeks, my manager who was on my side, called to let me know I was termed effectively immediately for reasons I was never asked about during the investigation which was: misconduct for being intoxicated (at an off hours off site event which I wasn't), retaliation (I never spoke to ANYone involved or retaliated) and not being forthcoming (again I answered every question honestly). I was on intermittent leave for a mental disability and why they thought I was intoxicated at the party was due to my medication I take. I'm in California and it's illegal to fire someone on disability for discrimination. I think they made up the other reasons just so I couldn't sue as they couldn't give me any rationale behind it. For context, I have been with the company 9 years, promoted 4 times and have exceeds expectation ratings on every performance review. Every executive and then some has offered to write me a recommendation letter and are absolutely shocked, as am I, by the result. Is this even fair?
They now won't even send me off boarding info or speak to me and I'm very upset as now it looks as if I was fired for misconduct on my record as an HR person and all of these are false accusations. Any of my HR friends out there have advice ?!
