2024.11.27 02:40 Moist_Lychee6762 First Step into Prepper Life!
I've finally taken my first step into prepping. Was able to pick up an EcoFlow Delta 2 Solar Generator (Portable Power Station) plus 220W Solar panel today. Very excited for this purchase to come in and get me going on my preparation journey.
Any thoughts / recommendations / anecdotal evidence in regard to this piece of gear? Looking forward to having power security in the event of grid unreliability.
Also, any other essential pieces of beginner prep gear y'all would recommend? I'm focusing on having proper medical gear (already have a substantial first aid kit), a stock of food and potable water / purification system, and access to power.

I watched an interview with Ricky He who described how the writer for From was inspired to create TMIY.
So Griffin was living in LA and one day he saw a man wearing a yellow suit and he looked very happy and filled with joy. Then a few years later he saw the same man and his suit was dirty and tattered and he looked unhappy.
So in other words, years of being homeless made a man lose joy in life and his clothes were in bad shape. Imagine that.

Would anyone be willing to help me create a deck out of a list of words I already have compiled? With as much tech as I've used, I can't seem to figure out Anki in the way that I need it.
Why am I not just using a premade deck? Well, bc It's for college Spanish and I need the exact list of words from the book.
I've tried knowt and Quizlet, but knowt for some reason won't notify me for the next study session despite both the in app and system settings are turned on. And ngl I forget why I don't like Quizlet...

Lately I have seen some rather pathetic content from our brothers on the platform which has led me to straight up cringe down to my bones
I'm all for respecting whatever religion anybody may believe, how yall spend yall life is completely up to you for sure, just make sure you understand that it's your belief, and a belief is all it is. Stop forcing it on anybody else, and stop making assumptions on what other moroccans should or may believe as well.
Moving on to my main point, I have seen a couple lives lately hosted by extremist moroccan muslims who have extreme points of view with topics ranging from ''morocco should revert to sharia law'' to more extreme things.
I just want to point out one thing to these pathetic men who seems to have completely lost the plot: yall are so incredibly embarassing.
Luckily, I have never lacked in any departments and have and are living a life blessed with women, good friends and family. Meaning I have never lacked in any of those departments. Growing up and living life I have noticed one extremely obvious fact which is what makes cringe every time I see these pathetic men online, and I bet many of you smart people have already clocked this as well: It seems like the boys who seem to struggle with getting women / the boys who are physically challenged are the ones who mainly turn to radicalism, and it needs to stop yesterday.
If you cant get any women the answer is not to revert to extremist islamism and try to get some play by trying to use religion as an excuse to exert control over women and then in turn get some play bro. Its beyond embarassing whenever I see moroccans online doing this and I wish yall would stop shaming the rest of us moroccans who are actually bringing a good image to our country name.
If you feel attacked by this post understand that I am indeed talking about you, and instead of trying to justify it by some low it means in the comments go sit in a corner in your room and reflect on how you can better change your situation in life rather than turning to radicalism, and double so if youre doing it in a public way. If there is no way for you to not do this for whatever reason at least do not admit in any way that you are moroccan. Please and thank you for listening.

2024.11.27 02:40 Pathetic-Ali Am I the only person who don't like the "split-cours" system?
As you have read the title, I am not a very big fan of the "split-cours" system. And in recent times this is becoming a trend now.
Whenever I see or hear about an anime having multiple cours, I always wonder why tf they can't just do the traditional weekly releases without any breaks... And if there's a problem (like the project isn't complete) then why do they even decide to release it early?
I mean, I can understand that the studios are quite greedy and this helps in marketing. I am just not a fan of it. And I always get annoyed when I hear "the final season part-2" or some shit. Why can't then they just call it second season??
What do y'all think?
