2024.11.27 00:29 ontothemystic Why is the nausea back and how can I fix it?
Hello, I was recently diagnosed and had duodenitis. It's been about 3 months. My insides no longer feel they're rotting, so that's great. However, I'm now mildly nauseous when I get hungry and then cannot figure out what a good balance of meal size should be. I'm often mildly nauseous after I eat too.
I cannot figure it out, as this wasn't a problem two weeks ago. Last week I learned that corn is a no go and I already knew I cannot tolerate oats. I make all my own food and have no idea why this nausea is back most of the time.
Any one have any suggestions or advice? I drink lactose free milk and do hard cheeses. Some cheese is out but aged cheddar doesn't seem to bother me.
Thanks in advance. This sucks and I hate it.

 | I changed the water almost 2 weeks ago and accidentally did too much - like 35% I’d say. Ever since then he kind of loafs around the bottom. He does still get excited to see me when it’s a feeding day (he eats Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday some pellets and like 3 bloodworms which he attacks). Occasionally I’ll see him swimming around when I walk by but more often than not he’s chilling. The temperature strip on the side of the tank claims the water is 80* - I got a strip after the water didn’t feel as warm as it did before so I thought the heater was broken. The parameters last Thursday seemed ok (see pic) and my strip test yesterday didn’t show any concerns. Is he still traumatized from the water change 10 days ago? Or something else possibly? I’ve been looking so closely at him and don’t see any causes for concern - first pic of him hiding in his house is today, last pic is from a few weeks ago. I’ve only had him 2 months. I would love some advice on where to add or change things in my skincare routine! I mostly use korean skincare products as my skin loves them, and I would like to incorporate more! I have combo-skin (the usual oily T-zone and dry cheeks).
Overall, I am really lucky that I rarely break out on my face. I'm approaching 30, so the main thing is I want to just take care of my skin now to try to minimize (or postpone) any wrinkles or such that eventually show up. I also have large pores/sebaceous filaments on around my nose that have responded well to my current routine, but I'd like to see if I could make them happier as they still are pretty noticeable. I also have pigmentation issues (redness, possibly from rosacea) that have also gotten better everywhere but my cheeks.
TLDR: Combo-skin, redness, large pores
Currently, my routine is as follows:
- COSRX Snail Mucin 96% Power Face Essence (Day and Night)
- Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum Rice + Alpha-Arbutin (Mornings) OR AMPLE:N Peptide Shot Serum (Night)
- COSRX Snail Mucin All-in-one cream (as needed, usually a thin layer a few times a week if my skin is feeling especially dry), though my default is a Hempz hydrating lotion as my face loves it for some reason
- Derma B everyday sunblock (morning)
I'm thinking of adding:
- COSRX Full Fit Propolis Synergy Toner (I've heard it is a HG product for folks with rosacea)
- Maybe something a eye cream, or something to use especially at night? Open to suggestions!
- Maybe a more specialized cleanser than the CeraVe one?

 | My 3 year old untaimed teil is the silliest bird, who does the oddest things. Last summer, he decided to fly into my egg on avocado toast, and steal a bite (yes, I'm aware avacado is bad for birds he had a beaks worth and we monitored him for a week to make sure nothing was wrong with him). Today, he decided to fly right into my mom's pasta and get his feeties dirty 🤦♀️. We have a wet paper towel down with some millet to hopefully get he's feet clean, since he's untaimed and we cant wash his feet ourselves. Very new to the game.
When leveling, adding a single point to an attribute seems to raise no more than a handful of stats, yet adding two or more collective points to an attribute (in one grace sitting) seems to increase mostly all of the stats(?).
Is this an accurate assessment? Am I missing something, because this doesnt seem right?

Hi guys, i'm sure this question has floated around quite a bit so apologies in advance. Just want some clear advice on my personal situation.
My dad has floated the idea of gifting his house to me. There is no mortgage on it, but he has been receiving rental income from it. What are my options here? I understand a transfer of ownership will result in Stamp duty being paid from myside, but also causes a CGT event and tax payable from my dads side?
What if instead of him vacating his title, I just get added as a owner of the property? Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe I still am paying the same stamp duty as i would to trasnfer solely to me? But does this stop the CGT event and tax payable from my dads side from occuring?
Ultimately, I want to avoid any additional costs, and have my name on the title with the least amount of cost added.
Any advice would be amazing!
