We need a photo in the style of the black dress / grey background but the family is not happy how it turned out. We are interested in keeping the overall styling of the black dress photo but using as much of the face/head/hair from the school photo (light blue background).
Here's the details of the what we need in the final version:

Grey mottled background
Black dress off the shoulder
The red necklace is preferred but either one is fine
Face/head from the picture with the light blue background

The final photo for printing will probably be cropped above where the chair is seen, but if you could please eliminate the chair that might also be helpful.

2024.11.27 00:30 aphotic02 Out of work for a worsened injury, can't seem to get anywhere - WA State

I work in retail as a supervisor. On August 13th I dislocated my knee at work on a drawer that was left open right by my leg. Full subluxation, then snapped back in as I fell. Went to urgent care, work filed L&I, was out for 5 days and then back on light duty. Within a few weeks the pain subsided. On November 5th, I started getting sharp pains in my knee whenever I stood or walked for more than a few minutes. I worked one full shift in that condition and ended the night in excrutiating pain. I worked a couple half shifts just doing admin and other miscellaneous office work, but they didn't have much work overall for me to do off my feet. After those shifts I applied for a leave of absence. I went back to orthopedics on November 19th. The doctor did a physical examination and wasn't sure what was wrong, so he's ordering an MRI.
Before this, I have never been on worker's comp, and I have two issues right now, but my claim manager is out until Dec 3rd.

I still haven't received all my payment from the initial injury. Two checks never made it to me, and to reissue them, the third party claim management company required me to send in a notarized affidavit that I will not cash the original checks if they make it to me. It has been over a week since I've sent the affidavit and notified my claim manager, and I have not received the checks or any update from the manager.
My MRI is still pending approval, and radiology says it could take a couple of weeks to be approved by insurance. I am currently out of work on leave because I *cannot walk* for longer than 5-10 minutes, and grocery stores don't offer much in the way of work I can do off my feet. I cannot keep up with my bills or rent right now.

A few notes regarding the situation.
-I have dislocated my knee before, the most recent being incident being about 13 years ago, and the Ortho who saw me on August 13th said it was likely not a contributing factor because it's been so long. -I have experienced no other trauma to said knee since being dislocated. -As far as I can tell there is no direct line to anyone within the third party company aside from my claim manager. They have an automated option on their voicemail to be directed to one their colleagues, but that line just rings and rings and rings. -I have no savings. My partner and I went through some financial hardships a couple years ago that exhausted my savings and required me taking out a loan to survive.
This entire situation has left me anxious beyond belief, depressed, and exhausted. I'm not sleeping. I can barely do any activity. I just want to get better so I can get back to work, and I want to know I have a place to live.
Are there any resources I should be utilizing and has the third party company demonstrated negligence? Is there any advice anyone can give me to make it through this?

I don’t know what to do should I be understanding and plan another day or should I distance myself from them. Just to preface I am in no way an accredited meteorologist, I'm my own professor but anyways I saw that the people at the SPC seem to agree that severe weather could impact cental Georgia on Thanksgiving. They seem hesitant to put it out as a severe weather day given the low risk for my area but a sentence caught my eye. It went as follows:
"deep-layer shear will remain more than supportive of organized storms including supercells and linear structures as the day progresses. Should greater instability develop than currently anticipated, a corridor of higher severe probabilities within the Marginal Risk area would be warranted."
With that I want to throw out two questions for some of you more experienced in meteorology,

Does this warrant an extra eye over the next couple of days just to keep informed or should I disregard this as a option to chase? (Not saying ignore entirely, been there made that mistake)
What would you do in this scenario? (I should mention a good portion of my family will be in groups across the watch area, should I throw out a heads up to them?)

Part of me is worried because if you know anything about central Georgia it ain't nothing but pine trees and double wide trailers and should something pop off I'd hate to be that guy that is celebrating a good chase while someone is picking up their home piece by piece. Although, I have to admit when I read that supercells may be present my initial response was rather excited. We just don't get supercells let alone the chance for organized cells. Everything I've seen living here has been some sort of QLCS event barring April 27th 2011 and some other dates that slip my mind
I'm eager to hear what you guys have to say and I'm most definitely eager to learn something new so let me know!
