i have an issue where the back of my iems fall off alot, idk why as i havent tried opening them myself before, they just randomly did it. anyway, it fell off just then like normal, but one of the wires snapped (theres 2 of them) and everything sounds more or less normal. i was wondering if its worth getting it fixd or just leave it for now

I have a new hot tub at ground level in the backyard and dogs. Anyone have their hot tub protected somehow from getting pissed on all the time?
I’m considering building a wall of concrete blocks that I can step over that they can’t! That will be effective, just not the most attractive! I have to figure out another function or look for the blocks. I think I will also do this around my wooden shed to protect it.

Sono stata praticamente tutta la vita single, me la sono spassata, ho viaggiato da sola per il mondo, ecc.. per me è sempre stato super facile fare amicizie, ma Ora sono in una relazione da un anno e faccio fatica a socializzare... mi spiego, la relazione è a distanza (lui olandese) e mi sono trasferita a Padova da poco, città nuova per me. Sto avendo molta difficoltà a fare amicizia.. i ragazzi sono più socievoli con me rispetto alle ragazze che magari hanno già le loro amiche, ma appena scoprono che sono fidanzata lasciano perdere. In generale, indipendentemente dal sesso/orientamenti sessuali, è come se la gente intrinsecamente ti trova meno interessante se sei fidanzata, o magari è solo la mia percezione, non lo so. So che non dovrebbe esserci correlazione tra essere fidanzata e avere difficoltà a fare amicizie nuove, eppure è quello che mi sta succedendo e non so come gestire la situa.. a qualcun altro capita?

2024.11.27 00:20 ADCplayer16 What to build? How to play compared to other ADCs??
Hey everyone's going nuts over the skin so I apologise for breaking it up with this post but I am a previously master tier ADC currently sitting d3 with a 62% wr 128W - 80L and if I link my opgg you'll see my highest played are as follows: Lucian 78% wr 37 games Ashe 62% wr 37 games Ezreal 58% wr 24 games Cait 59% wr 17 games Xayah 64% wr 14 games etc etc I am not here "bragging" I am wondering why the hell I can't play jinx? Like I mean I really can't I just run it down and int? I feel like I do no damage early at all, even with 2, 3 items I still feel like that...
The build I've been going is Yuntal -> IE -> Runaans or PD -> LDR or Mortal but I feel like I just do no damage? Is Jinx in a bad spot atm? Am I just garb at the champ? How can I play every other adc to a high level but not jinx? Basically am I missing something or is my build wrong? Runes I go lethal presence alacrity, cut down with secondary being biscuits and boots. (biscuits are wildly OP on adcs atm slept on)
Any advice is appreciated.

all right, been reading a lot of bridezillas posts lately, as well as posts in this subreddit.
i am an “old” by standards of most ladies who post in both subreddits at 36. i am unmarried, in large part due to focusing on my very demanding career, but still would like to marry one day. after reading so, so, so many posts about the following things being or becoming issues (and having been a bridesmaid and wedding attendee many times), are my thoughts about what my wedding would look like crazy? is it just because i am internet old and self-established? or might these things be good advice to the twenty-somethings out there?
- i would not want or need an engagement party or bachelorette party. both seem like unnecessary expenses for which money could be put into the wedding/reception itself.
- i might, MAYBE, pay for a makeup and hair artist for myself, and give the info and prices to my bridal party if they wanted someone else to do their hair and makeup, but would absolutely not require that of them. i want them to look and feel good, but if they feel okay doing that on their own without forking over money for someone else to do it for them, fab!
- give my bridal party options for colors for their dresses, but let them choose something they would wear again, or could rent.
- NO GIFTS. perhaps it’s because of where i am in life, but i would not need any appliances or towels or bedding or vacuums or … you get the point. especially if i’m enjoining myself to someone else who most likely also already has most of those things. maybe an optional “honeymoon fund” instead, if people really wanted to gift something?
- swift ceremony. 20 minutes max. we all just want to get to the fun part. probably wouldn’t even need chairs expect for family or friends who can’t stand for too long.
- open bar!
- buffet-style dinner to be able to accommodate multiple diets.
- a venue that does set-up and tear-down so no guests or bridal party members have to spend time doing that.
- child-free reception - WITH renting a ballroom in the hotel for a “kid reception” with trusted and vetted childcare workers where parents can pop in any time to check on their kids. igaf if a kid screams through my ceremony, again that’s the boring part.
- most important photos to me would be “first look,” and a few with bridal party and family. the rest i would want to be candid through the night. don’t need a bunch of “getting ready” photos or my dress hanging up in a window or any of that. who really looks at their wedding photos on the regular, anyway, aside from posting them on socials?

I guess this is a bit of a sciencey question. I'm interested in whether and how the tint interacts with the perm solution, as well as the lash itself.
Wondering whether the curl would last longer with or without the tint? Does the tint "condition" the lash in a way that allows the curl to hold, or in some way protects the lash; or does it do the opposite - could it interfere with the perm and/or damage the lash somehow?
My intuition tells me that regardless, going without the tint would mean using more mascara, and so regularly removing that would impact both the curl longevity and the health of my lashes anyway. I don't wear much makeup in general and only apply mascara occasionally, so part of me would like to see what my curled lashes look like in their natural colour.
I've had both lift+tint done together several times and liked the results (bar one experience, which was corrected for me), and I've got a birthday voucher at my favourite salon so wanting to get it done in the next week or so, so tossing up whether to get just a lift or a tint as well.
