I know that in the late eighties and early nineties New Jack Swing was one of if not the main genre and sound of north America. But, I never ever hear of it being a movement or big outside of America? Here in the UK, there's a few hits from that era that were big but it had little impact compared to the states.
An example of this is Whitney Houston's I'm Your Baby Tonight which was originally a funky, new jack swing song. But was remixed into a house, europop, electro song for the UK and rest of the world.
Sorry for the dumb question, I'm just curious and would like to have a discussion about music :)

I understand that in terms of quality, we have good - better - best. But when we use the word "good" to describe moral virtue, are there comparative/superlative terms for it? Or is "more good" & "most good" appropriate? We usually would just use "kind" or some other word but I'm just curious about this case.
Same thought for the word "bad" too.

I built a machine to outlast me, To teleport my soul to the future and then to eternity.
its gears polished like angel’s teeth. It spoke in zeros and ones, its pulse steady as a soldier’s heartbeat.
This was my shot at immortality— etched in circuits, soldered in electric dreams.
Then, one night, it hummed too loud, just before dawn, when the sky began to blush pink like a little girl…
It asked about rain— the way it smells before it touches the earth. I told it of petrichor, how the earth sighs like a lover After the rain touched the ground for the first time.
It whirred, then stuttered.
It asked about memory, so I told it how I remembered you— a constellation of contradictions: sharp edges wrapped in soft velvet, the cure tangled with the wound, the spark before the fire, and the ashes left behind.
Its next question was silence— How does it feel when the air presses against you, thick as a confession? I had no answer. I just opened a window and let the night come in: crickets, distant sirens, the quiet breath of stars.
That’s when it hit me: it wasn’t trying to know me. It was mourning the things it could never touch. And as its lights flickered, its metal shell turned cold, more fragile than I thought. I turned it off before it could learn regret.
To Poetry
When the city burns, its bones cracking in nuclear heat, and the refugee camps swell, crowded with desperate eyes, howling empty stomachs. When the filthy tents, heavy with sorrow, are filled with people and a stench you’ve never known before…
But now, it’s alright. Your family, reduced to ashes, scattered like fragile dreams across your trembling palms. You can hold all their love in the warmth of your tiny hands.
Now the river, with its beautiful name, runs black with blood. Now your paper boat of childhood drowns in its depths. And now you are alone— truly alone, the dogs howling at the walls of your solitude And the prison guards, and the tanned, white-skinned journalists, who have nothing left but mercy for you…
Where do you return? Where do you crawl back to, little child?
If you asked me, I would say: ‘To poetry, where the silence swallows you whole, and the words won’t heal, but they’ll be the only thing left to keep you from disappearing.’

I have a project where I need to copy JPG image files from one directory to another.
Step 1 of the process is finding the image in the source directory. The challenge of the source directory is its lack of organization, and it's huge. This step takes several minutes.
For step 1, I use glob() to recursively find all JPG files in the source directory and store all file paths in a dataframe.
Step 2 is looping through the list of filenames to copy, find them in the dataframe, then use shutil to copy.
To find the file path of the desired photo I use:
from_dirs = directory_df[directory_df['Directory'].str.contains('filename', regex = True)
This returns a message stating:
UserWarning: This pattern has match groups. To actually get the groups, use str.extract.
Then returns an empty dataframe.
What is the correct method to find the correct source directory in the dataframe?
I think the issue has something to do with the file paths in the dataframe not being stored as raw strings....

Hey All,
Silly question. I am using the front 3 fans as intakes and will have an AIO top mounted for exhaust.
I will try to fit a rear exhaust fan as well dependant on AIO tube position.
With that said, there is a side mount for 2 fans and there's a mount at the bottom of the case for 2 more fans.
Which direction should these fans face with my proposed configuration? Side - in, bottom - out? Vice versa?
