Hello,
I'm new to SC I really wanted to play, my question is for those of you experienced enough with store prices. I wanted to play Star Citizen but 65 is the cheapest pledge package and it's also in USD which makes it worse for me, and I can't really afford to spend that much. Is there any way of playing the game for less than that? I heard something about gift and stuff but I don't really understand it well enough.

I launched a web app without validating the idea first, and as expected, it didn’t gain any traction. The goal was to prove to myself that I could build and launch something—and I succeeded in that.
Now, I’m focusing on validating my next idea before investing too much into development. I built a landing page on Wix with a waitlist, ran Google Ads to drive traffic, and boosted a post on Twitter. So far, I’ve spent about $600, but nobody has signed up for the waitlist.
I get that it could be a bad idea, but the process seems unsustainable if every idea costs hundreds of dollars to validate, especially if none pan out.
Is this just how it works, or are there more cost-effective ways to validate ideas? What approaches have worked for you?

2024.11.27 02:40 dencol Went 1850-2170 on hpal with a build posted from here
I had never played hpal before this season. I felt like I was trading wins between 1800-1950, kinda hard stuck. I tried a build that was posted here a couple of weeks ago from a top SS hpal and it took me awhile to get the hang of it, but started to do mucin better after a bunch of games. Maybe I just learned to play. I can’t post the build because I’m on mobile but it’s the sacred shield/weapon instead of Tyrs with the melee wings.
Took me 690 rounds to get 2.1. Most of that was learning the class and learning solo shuffle. But the climb from 1850-2170 was less than 100 rounds probably. Biggest improvements for me were when I started holy shocking way more consistently to stack better healing for word of glory, using judgement on cooldown, judgement with wings (love this), and rotating / spreading out cooldowns better. And, all it takes is one big searing glare toward the end of the round to seal it. It’s just like how mind games used to be.. 1 good one changes the game.

*M.C. = multiple choice [&] F.R. = free response*
So for this one particular course, there are five exams (yes, I'm dying). For the past four, I have noticed a pattern, I excel on the F.R. but do sucky on the M.C. section. This has never been the case for me, as M.C. answers, even when quite similar, have been quite a lot easier for me, historically.
I have a problem with this because if I am able to provide information that shows clear understanding of a course's content without reference (this professor's M.C. has no overlap with the F.R.), that is significantly harder than just memorizing information for the sake of choosing A, B, C, or D.
I know the content for this course inside and out and yet the highest grade I've gotten on an exam in that class is an 84%.

Hello! I am currently a student directing major at my university, and am hoping to potentially direct Dave Malloy's Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 next year. We don't have the largest department in the world, so I was wondering if the 16 people the show calls for were an absolute need? Can any roles be feasibly combined? What is the least amount of people the show could be done with?
If anyone has any insights, please let me know! I love this show a lot, and would love to hear about it further. Anything else I should consider in casting?
